Got take out. We were really excited about this place opening since we first heard about it coming. We were really disappointed with the results. Got the Alley Crepe figuring that for almost 11 dollars it was decently filled with maybe some extras or sides. However, it turned out to be nothing more than a few pieces of bland chicken wrapped in what tasted like a thin tasteless pancake. The sheer lack of weight was astounding. It cost maybe a dollar to make (if that) and came with no extras, no sides, and no satisfaction. This crepe was my dinner, and it was finished in maybe 5 bites. So, not really sure what the $10.50 price was covering. Wife had the butter-sugar-lemon crepe. She also was very disappointed, as it tasted (again) like a thin pancake with supermarket bought lemon and butter spray on top. As people who love a good crepe, this places crepes are well below standard. Eating crepes here was akin to wanting authentic Mexican food and being taken to a Taco Bell. Walked away feeling really ripped off and duped. A real shame. We had high hopes. That was a year ago. Tried to give them another chance this week after a long hiatus. Took a lot to work up going back in. Went in to get a meal and when I ordered a smoothie, was told that they would not do a smoothie with only one fruit, that I needed to choose another fruit. I asked them to just double the current fruit. He said, "We dont do that." Stunned at the immense amount of stupidity, I handed back the menu and walked out. I really hope this place goes under soon.

Nothing can be said negative about the Alley Cafes food, staff, or service. Its a shame people abuse online reviews and ramble on to pick on a place even when its not justified. My opinion is you must try it to believe it anyway so, dont judge or hide behind reviews go in and taste how fresh everything is. Youll see how clean it is there, and youll see the sweetest outdoor eating/sitting area. Its definitely worth seeing and tasting for yourself. No need to substitute perfection! Its better than going to other local delis because at least here they get your order correct, which is more than I can say for anyone else in town. Thank you for bringing authentic, fresh, delicious food made with a smile just as we like it!

After several visits I can say with confidence that the Alley is among the best spots in the area. The food is DELICIOUS, generously portioned, fresh and fairly priced. I have recurring dreams about the slow cooked chicken rice platter. The savory crepes are also not to be missed. Always friendly staff and a really welcoming vibe. Look forward to many more visits!

Sorry to say but we were very disappointed with our dinners. The pernil did not taste fresh, just reheated and under seasoned. The same for the mafungo. Very little seasoning even with the sauce provided. The red beans needed some sofrito for seasoning. For the price - two dinners for a little over $25.00, we expected an authentic Latin flavored dinner.

I walked in for the first time this week because of the good reviews, and they are right! Very friendly service. The staff greeted me with a smile and offered me cinnamon in my cafe au lait. He even made a cool design in the top with the milk. Good quality coffee. Good presentation! Little things to make customers happy go a long way.
