The food is pretty good (on par with Qdoba). The only downside: price and lighting. Its a little bit more pricey than Qdoba but not by a huge margin. But the biggest problem is the lighting interior. The place looks mad gloomy and unwelcoming. I was first hesitant to try this place out because of that reason. I mean, the light bulb thing thats going on is pretty cool during the night but it doesnt attract customers during the majority of the day. Should really switch to another lighting interior. If they fix that, I think more people would be going to this place. Its a lot closer to kids at Ryan Middle School and Franny kids. So more people will migrate to Sabroso than they would by walking an extra mile to Qdoba.

Ive struggled to find decent mexican food since I moved here. Im a student from St. Johns, so naturally I have no money whatsoever. Im also a big dude so I try to get the most out of what I pay for. I can say that if youre looking for a quick service and delicious fresh-tasting mexican joint, this is it. The portions are perfect and filling. And as far as price goes, it may look intimidating, but 1: youre in New York & 2: its totally worth it (Im talking to you $4 taco).

This little place has so much charm and a great vibe. The food was fantastic! It all tasted so fresh and was just plain amazing. I was waiting for a while for them to open up shop, and they did not disappoint.
