I USED TO love getting lunch from Lotus with my coworkers all the time, till one day when I ordered my usual Gen Tsos chicken one day, and I found myself chewing on METAL STAPLES. Apparently there was a surprise inside the chicken that both I was unaware of, as was the Chef. Needless to say, I have not gone back since and I do not plan to. I could put up with expensive prices if the food was decent, but the food isnt worth the paranoia of cutting up my stomach. Ive been to plenty of high end restaurants and honestly fancy lights and decor wont be so important to a customer when their mouth is bleeding due to a Chefs ignorance and blatant disregard to attention to detail. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

BEWARE!!! I ate at Lotus Restaurant on Conklin Street in Farmingdale Friday night. Sick 2 hours after with food poisoning and had to go to the ER Sunday night due to the tremendous pain. Admitted to the hospital for this and just got sent home today- Wednesday. Had to be on IV antibiotics and nothing to eat for all this time. Can you believe the manager has still not called me back? I just called and Tiffany answered and said Michael got your messages he is out delivering food. Is that food being delivered also contaminated? How about returning a phone call and speaking to the customer whom you made incredibly sick. NEVER EATING AT THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN. PLEASE BOYCOTT!!!

I just ordered 2 combo meals one of which came to my house without the beef. I called back and nicely requested to have them bring the beef to my house. Because thats what I wanted, thats what I ordered and thats what I paid for. The girl said that I didnt order beef and that it wasnt her fault. I always order the same thing and I have ordered from there close to 50 times. They refused to let me speak with a manager and after requesting that they send back the delivery guy with the beef I ordered and paid for several times the lady became very nasty. Isnt the first rule in business that the customer is always right? I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN!

I have to say that Lotus Garden is my favorite restaurant ever! Everything ive had there is great! I went with a couple friends and sat at the sushi bar, and what an experience. The chef was very personable and made everything fresh in front of our eyes. The wait staff was very attentive and made sure we always had clean plates and werent without drinks. We sampled a few appetizers from the menu as well as a few maki rolls and it was all superb. I would definitely recommend Lotus to anyone and will be ordering some takeout from there very soon!

We have been eating here for years and have always loved it. The new decor and layout is beautiful, calming and natural. Excellent service. Great martinis and drinks, to say nothing of the food. Wonderful sushi. Everything is beautiful and delicious. We have brought friends here and they love it too. I could eat here every day.

Great restaurant. Clean, very friendly waiters and staff. The food is out of this world. Gluten - free options. They made me gluten free sesame chicken. It is amazing. My husband and family go here all the time. We travel from Blue Point for the Sushi and Chinese. Great service and great food is hard to find.

I got some food for delivery and the driver was unhappy to deliver from farmingdale to massapequa, when I told him not to deliver so far he yelled at me and called me names. I will never order food from there or go there. Who allows their employees to treat their customers that way?

Pretty good chinese food. Been going here for years. The service for sit-down can be slow especially if its busy but its worth it. Just allocate extra time on a weekend.
