Ive always had good food and service anytime I visited Grovers. Burgers are consistant in quality and flavor, as well as service being consistantly decent. I love how people find something they dont like and let it accellerate their negativity. Its a small place with a huge reputation... it gets very busy, sometimes cannot accomodate every single individuals wants and desires. That is to be expected and I understand that. Child Height chairs (isnt this a bar??), Birthday partys (did ya happen to notice the size of the building??), and like every restaurant on planet earth, they have real genuine human beings waitressing and preparing, so mistakes are a possibility just like anywhere else. Oh and the simple fact that the populartity of Grovers has sky rocketed since being on T.V. should clue people in on the idea that this place will be and usually is busy... so expect to wait to be seated. So..... 1.) Have a beer (or pop) and some conversation if youre waiting to be seated. 2.) Enjoy your big delicious tastey burger or whatever your heart may desire. Throw in more conversation. (Umm... Ive honestly never had anything from Grovers that I didnt enjoy) 3.) Finish eating and then go home fat and happy. BTW... They Dont Take Credit Cards... so the other alternative to that is CASH! Hope this helps...

I dont know why people live this place. The burgers are huge but no flavor, I have eaten here on more than one occasion and I know Guy Fieri was here but in my opinion you should season the meat and maybe add some type of peppers, onions or celery in the mix or even other types of meat to add flavor but again that is my opinion. My real problem with the place is the hostess/ wait staff is terrible and rude and because of that I will never step foot in this place again. We were having a birthday dinner for someone who loves it there and we had 9 people but the birthday girl and her significant other were on the way but about 5 minutes out and the waitress refused to seat us even though the only large enough table became available. We are all adults and we told her we would like to start with apps and drinks from the bar but she was still insistent that she would not seat us until they came. In the few short minutes she sat a party of 4 at the table and we ended having to wait until they finished eating and I would have left but the birthday girl loves thus place so we waited. NEVER again would I give them a dime for terrible food..... Go across the street to rock bottom and get a great burger. and it isnt just my opinion, they were voted best burger in Buffalo and they are nice there as well.

Came here on a whim across the border from Canada with a couple if friends for Grovers. My friend said he came last time and was amazing so I figured Id tag along to try this place out. Got there and it was busy, a bit of a wait to get seated but not too long so that was nice. Server was wonderful and extremely attentive. I also think she mentioned the food may be a bit of a wait since it was busy, which is very understandable. I ordered The Bruiser on sourdough bread (love that I can change my bread), and my friends ordered some tex mex burger and their special of the day which is just hp sauce or something bbq sauce related. We also got half onion rings half fries. Food came out maybe half and hour later and we were pretty hungry by then. My burger wasnt bad, but we all agreed that the party itself could use more seasoning. The fries were pretty bland, but the onion rings had flavour at least. Overall I think maybe it was abit hyped do to DDD, but its not bad if you want the novelty of American sized burgers. May come back again to try them again, maybe Ill try a non-burger next time. Service: 5/5 Food: 3/5 Atmosphere: 4/5

Heard about Grovers from my co-workers raving about it. Then my co-worker showed me the food network clip on her smart phone. Ive been there twice since then and love it, the burgers are delicious! Like the guy said on the show.."the burgers are the size of man hole covers", so bring your appetite. The only con I can say about the place is that its too small, but maybe thats why it tastes so good.....the anticipation. I understand that they want to keep the rustic look of Grover Clevelands hunting lodge, but with it being so small, the wait times were at least 30-40 minutes each time Ive went. But it was worth the wait, so Ill be returning for business.

Grovers burgers are good, with some love from the kitchen they could be great. The little things matter. Stopped at Grovers last night. It wasntto busy the wait was short. We ordered two burger. When they both came both of our buns were cold... why go thru all the trouble to make a really good burger to not treat the roll with some love. You could toss them on the grille or at least warm them to take the chill and stiffness out of them. Also my burger was a southwest burger it came with a toping of fried onion straws on top they to were cold. The burger itself was very good. Like i said just a lack of love in the kitchen.

I called Grovers Bar & Grill to put in a take out order and I was told they are no longer doing take out. I asked when this happened because I have done take out for almost the entire week. She said because we were featured on Food TVs Diners, Drives and Dives we have become too busy and cannot take your order, she then went on to say that the cook refuses to fill take-out orders. I asked why she would turn down a $100 order, and she then told me that they have enough customers and that take out is not important to them.

Excellent burgers. I got the black and blue burger and Im glad I did. All of the burgers here are huge and have so much flavor. Its a small quaint place that was packed when we were there. The service was excellent and everyone seemed to love the place. All of the food that came out of the kitchen looked and smelled good. The only downside to the restaurant was that they dont take credit cards (which is surprising), but they had an ATM if you needed it. A definite must if you want a GREAT burger! Ill be back!!!

I love this place the food is wonderful and you definatly get what you pay for! It is a small bar and grill and worth the wait! I would recomend this place to hungry people I usually have to take half of it home or I share a burger and the hamburger soup with my husband. Umm making me hungry just writing this review. Just a heads up it is cash only and they are closed on Sundays which I like, allows employees time to celebrate the Sabbath, if they choose not many places do that anymore.

Called for an order got half way through the order and was placed on hold for 8 minutes. Hung up and called back only to be hung up on again. Called twice more and was told they could not accommodate our order of 9 hamburgers. If a restaurant can not accommodate customers they should be sure to not that on the menus they hand out. I truly hope whomever owns this restaurants gets wind of what the employees are doing with the business.
