Horrible service! My friend and I walked in for a piece of cake. We were going to take it to go but decided Instead to sit at a table and share it (no big deal right? We did buy the cake there after all). We notice this guy behind the register giving us the evil eye. He then sends the cashier to tell us to leave instead of facing us himself. We ask why and are just told "you guys ordered to go" with the most disgusting attitude imagineable. We mentioned being loyal frequent customers (we order over the phone all the time) and were told "you have to leave right now" I am black and my friend is lebanese. We believe this was a race thing. The place was absolutely empty. To top it off a white couple ordered coffee to go before us, ended up sitting down and were not asked to leave. Explain that?! Never coming back!

Came here for the first time for some food and drinks. Took them 15 minutes just to bring menus. They gave me the wrong drink and took them 40 minutes to decide what to do and then finally bring a plain ol mojito. Ordered an appetizer and 2 salads. One salad came right away. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for my oriental salad, which I eventually had to cancel. The waitress was bratty and gave us an attitude the entire time. Not only that, but she avoided us the entire time because she knew what was going on and was uncomfortable (because she probably forgot to put in the order in the first place). The manager also walked passed us the entire time. Also, avoiding us. The food that did come was good, but damn the service SUCKS. I was excited to try this place, not a good first impression. Not coming back.

I have had two items from this place. The avocado burger - loaded with thick slices of half an avocado, fresh crisp onion and a solid half pound prime beef burger. I hope you are starting to salivate, this burger got my attention. Mayo, mustard, lettuce and relish on a brioche bun - this is about become a weekly habit. The other part of my order was the Madhatter crepe - maybe a little and I mean little thick - but given the filling it was appropriate. Nutella, bananas and fudge make this rich and the chantilly creme on the side actually reduced it. And it was fresh - reason I know I left some for later and the cream reverted to liquid. If you live in Bay Ridge give this one a sot.

The food and dessert are delicious, but the service sucks. We waited 20 minutes before anyone asked for our order and I went looking for someone to come. Two of the six people I was with received their dessert and by the time they were done the rest of us received our desserts along with the appetizers. I expected to receive the appetizers first and when we were done they were supposed to bring everyones desserts at the same time. One of the glasses was dirty and we asked for a new glass that never came. When I complained to the waiter he just sent someone else to service us, without apologizing. I think its because it get so busy the staff dont take the time to be hospitable.

Horrible service. And waiters are very rude. We ordered pastries including tres leches. And the waiter served us strawberry shortcake instead of tres leches, as if we were not aware of what we know we were eating. We prompted him twice if what he served was tres leches and he had no shame in lying. The waiter - who takes the order - served us super late and other customers were served immediately. We even had to approach the waiter to serve us and still he just waved and said Ill be there. On our way out he gave us a cringy look. Date and time of visit: 6/14 at 10:30Pm

Ive never sat down here, but weve picked up dessert several times. Sweets are always really good (though I dont like their weird cake-instead-of-crust on their cheesecakes...but thats easy to fix!), the staff is friendly (if pretty slow), and I dont think weve tried anything we have not really liked yet! If you have a hankering for some cake/cheesecake/baked desserts, then I do recommend the place. Again, Ive never actually sat down and eaten here, but desserts are quite tasty :)

Expensive but worth it! Omonia is the perfect place to relax, get some amazing specialty coffee drinks & desserts and catch up with friends! I love having this place near by because they have a diner like menu with a little bit of everything and great Greek food so there is something for everyone when going to hang out with a group. The atmosphere is great and they stay open late. Its basically like a perfected, beautiful, upscale diner. I love it.

the desserts at the entrance are very tempting. before making a selection take a look at all they have to offer.. its a tough choice. the setting and atmosphere is pretty. the place is good for crowds and parties. The food isnt bad but I think its a more worthwhile trip if youre there mainly for dessert. They have a huge menu. I recommend you try it out and be your own judge. You will definitely enjoy the experience.

I love Omonia back in Astoria... and now there is one in Bay Ridge! Omonia is amazing. Its typical Astoria (even this Bay Ridge location). Go in and enjoy the delicious desserts and coffees. They have savory foods, too, but Ive never tried those. For me, the main draw is people watching, eating an ekmek kataifi, or a chocolate mouse, and drinking an iced frappe.

Food is not good. I had a savory go green crepe and the veggies inside are not cooked so it cool down the crepe and the veegies are huge raw chunks. Only two waitresses for a restaurant so you wait. And not very welcoming. I do not recommend if you come for brunch. And the menu is a diner menu not elaborated.

Gorgeous interior with delicious desserts. One of the staples of the neighborhood and great date spot. Warning: they will charge you $4 for a lipton tea, so theres that. Coffee is alright at best. Go here for the desserts not the drinks. Try the Baklava Cheesecake, its phenomenal.

Beware!! Chicken is undercooked, burger is undercooked!! WATCH what your eating! FYI Manager agrees that its undercooked. Since they reopened a few people said the same thing and we ignored it. Been here twice and still the same problem, even if you say well done.

Bakery needed up. Dont think it serves real food, but delicious Oreo cheesecake. Used to be a nightclub. Omonia is a famous square ( like Times Square ) in Athens. Good place to hang out when you need a place to hang out. Interesting selection of read.
