Yo-Wack! Over priced, rude staff, just ok food. Yo-Burger was so Yo-Wack. walked in, the girl said something I couldnt understand. I said excuse me? It looked like she had a mental fart, looked at the other cashier, held he hands to her head and said Id have to wait for the other cashier. She walked away and walked right back. Yo-Wack!!!!!! Staff looks like they came straight from the penitentiary. Still managed to get my order wrong. The grilled cheese is a burger bun inside out with two pieces of cheese. Still had to ask for my overpriced milk-shake. The veggie patty is a soggy mess. Didnt put the toppings on my Kosher "cheese dog." Didnt know cheese and meat could be considered Kosher. Fries suck too. The only reason people put any good ratings is because the food in Riverdale sucks and anything new is a treat.......until you step into the overpriced, rude place and realized that you should have kept on driving by instead of stopping. First and LAST time I ever go there, let alone look at the place.

This is one of the best veggie burgers Ive had in NYC. The veggie patty tasted so fresh and was cooked perfectly, and the toppings were all fresh. The pickles may have been my favorite part, but that might just be because I am a pickle lover. I also got a side of fries and they are fried to a golden crisp perfection. The people working there were all courteous and the restaurant was clean. They use those buzzers that Shake Shack uses to tell you the food is ready. Now that Im thinking about it, this place feels a fresher, less commercialised version of Shake Shack. Yo Burger also does frozen yogurt that they charge by weight, which makes it turn out a bit pricey. I didnt try any, but it looked good and they had a nice selection of toppings. I wish Yo Burgers food could pair up with Shake Shacks shakes, that would be heaven.

I could not recommend this place more! The place and service is top notch as well as the food. I would describe yo burger as being a combo between shake shack and in and out burger from the west coast. It could also resemble five guys as well but the burger is better than five guys. So we ordered two cheeseburgers, cheese fries, regular fries and a vanilla shake. The burger was well done and flavorful and the fries were decent as it was missing salt and the crispiness as other joints like shake shack. Other Than that, I will return for a second round when visiting Riverdale again. There is also outdoor seating but it is exposed to a main street. Was not too packed around 5 pm on a Sunday.

A better Five Guys, if your burger meat matters. The concept is similar: Pick your burger (single/double, cheese/none), choose all you want from an extensive list of free toppings, and throw on some premium additions if the fancy strikes you. Where Yo-Burger really sets itself apart is with the frozen yogurt and milkshakes. Burgers and shakes are a classic combo, and these guys deliver big time in that regard. Try the chocolate shake. Its creamy and rich and wont let you down. The burger toppings are on par with Five Guys, but I think the beef here much better. As far as clean, hip NYC burger joints go, Yo-Burger is probably bested only by Shake Shack.

Perhaps Vidal is annoyed with these people for whatever reason and decided to trash them with his review. Ive never read anything so off the mark and downright venemous. I go to shake shack in the city all the time and this food is just as good if not better. I live in Riverdale and finally checked it out yesterday. Everything was fresh hot and delicious. The only reason they get 4 stats instead of 5 is because they wont cook the burgers medium rare as a policy. They are not the only place that does this. I must admit though that burger even done medium was succulent and tasty as anything. Way to go. Im sold!!

The best burger and fries in town! Why go to a chain to eat their greasy, salty, food-like product, when for about the same price you can have a delicious real burger with your choice of fresh ingredients and crisp fries made to perfection. They have all kinds of yogurt but I prefer the thick milkshakes. I have been here many times and the eating area and restooms are always clean. No reaching behind the counter or begging for napkins and utensils. The staff is courteous and efficient. And did I mention the free no nonsense WiFi? New York needs more places like Yo-Burger

Yes, its a Shake Shack ripoff ... and Im totally OK with that. One of the best food options in the neighborhood, (not that thats saying a lot), whether youre a high school kid or a little old lady. The burgers are always great and highly customizeable. The fries are straight out of the freezer bag, but still pretty decent. The shakes are great, but I wish they had more ice cream options like Shake Shacks concretes. The frozen yogurt bar just doesnt do it for me. The addition of onion rings would be great too.

Yo Burger is amazing! Everyone writing bad reviews just wants to see this place fail. TRUST ME this place is beyond clean, the food is AMAZING, and the Yogurt is great! I was never a fan of frozen yogurt, but yoburger serves the best and only the best. The toppings are fun and tasty, and the service/clerks are so sweet and nice. YoBurger deserves every great review. LOVE IT! Try it and see for yourself how amazing it really is :)

This place is NOT like In & Out...they are wayyyy cheaper than this place and Shake Shack (which it is on price par with.) That said, its basically the Shake Shack experience without having to schlep into Manhattan or deal with the zoo that most Shake Shacks can be. The self serve froyo is a nice touch, though I was too full to indulge this time around...although the blueberries & cream flavor DEFINITELY tempted me.

Finally tried this place and was disappointed. Ordered the cheeseburger, which was on par with McDonalds. Nothing at all special about the burger, it had no seasoning/flavor and was not the juicy burger I hoped for. Really no reason for me to go back there for a burger, thus I will not return. Would be ideal for a Five Guys to take this spot over. FYI, the Bronx Burger joint on Mosholu blows this place away.

This is a lot better than McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, AppleBees, Shake Shack, KFC, Payayas, Taco Bell etc. Yo Burger will always be the best place ever. Nothing Beats Yo Burger. This is the only fast food that I want to eat because the burgers have fresh meat and the fries have fresh potatoes and crisp. YO BURGER ROCKS YO BURGER ROCKS YO BURGER ROCKS GO YO BURGER GO YO BURGER GO YO BURGER

The burgers are really good but a nice little surprise is that the hot dogs are AMAZING and a little more budget friendly. The frozen yogurt is good too. If youre a big eater, it can get a little spendy but not outrageous for the quality. It feels very Park-Slopey with tons of families with little kids and teenagers.

Yo Burger is fantastic! The burgers are super-delicious and made from scratch: juicy goodness in a bun, served with a slew of freebie toppings at your request, and the fries are the best! The restaurant is extremely clean, the clerks are very polite and friendly; just an amazing burger and shake experience!
