I like diners, this is no diner. McDonalds has better food and way better service. If you order the appetizer sampler in this place you must follow it up with an order of sauces for the wings, mozzarella sticks etc etc. The Ruben I ordered was bone dry and tasted off. My girlfriend ordered a burger, it was Mojave desert dry. Long story short she is puking her guts out as I wrap up this review. The Gold Mine Dinner is a gold mine for the local gastroenterologist. Actually Im feeling a little queezy myself so as I head off to worship the porcelain throne enjoy my 28 bucks BECAUSE its the last time Ill visit this DUMP. I hate the fact I must give 1 star. So Ill also give you

Best Bacon, Egg and cheese in town hands down. Coffee is good too. Im hooked now. I like being able to support local, privately owned business like this than to eat that processed food at Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks. Think about it. These big corporation are taking over and are feeding our community junk, processed foods. HELP KEEP THESE LOCAL BUSINESS ALIVE.

Were a regular customer, but tonight is the last!!! Giving a coleslaw without a cover so it messed up the whole plastic bag.. And buying our regular order cheese burger deluxe, with no lettuce and tomatoe.. We called up for their mistake, instead of apologizing the old guy keep explaining on his mistake.. Very disappointing!!!

Dine in restaurant with NO BATHROOM for customers... that says it all... I believe this is illegal. Ate there yesterday, fat lady at the register refused to let me use the bathroom after I finished eating, gave me all types of excuses in her bizarre messed up accent. I would not recommend.

Waiter messed up 3 of the 4 orders, the carrot cake was disgusting and he said he would give us a discount for messing up there orders and he only took off $1.00.. Not to mention the soda cans are filthy... I will never go back to this place ever again.

I like the convenience of this place which is open 24/7, is right near my smoke shop and neighborhood Irish pub, and right down the steps of the #1 train station on the NE corner of 231st St. & Broadway. The fast-order cooks are tops.
