As I walked inside the very populated store this week end.. there were many types of opened dip spread hummus, avocado etc. There was a girl @ 8=9 yrs old feasting on the stuff. Taking big chunks of one spread putting it on the morsel she had chosen then putting it in her mouth and with the same morsel ( cracker, bread whatever,) she would dip it into other dips. HOW UNSANITARY! Wheres this childs parents i thought.. Who is supervising this area to make sure that epople doo not dip into toher dips after putting tit isnde their mouth?? THE CHILD WAS OBVIOUSLY STARVING! saw the child with the mother afterwards and her small brother.. Doing the same thing in another food tsting aarea. NO ONE FROM THE STORE was there TO SUPERVISE. I then walk over to the fish area.. there was a short stout employee..making some noodles.. no gloves on. He was transfering these on to small paper cup cake cups. Some of the noodles fell on the work table.. This employee picked the noodles up from the table with his bare hands and put the noodles inside the paper cup cake placing it alongside the rest he had already prepared. I asked him " What are you doing?" He looked at me and grinned. I took the paper cup with noodles inside and threw it in the garbage. Men were approaching the area grabbing those paper cups of noddles to eat them!. I AM SO DISGUSTED WITH THE LACK OF HYGENE AND SUPERVISION AT THIS STORE THAT I WILL NEVER,NEVER SET FOOT INSIDE THIS TROE AGAIN. DISGUSTING!

I just stopped in for my first time yesterday on my way home to CT from the train station and I was blown away with how much great stuff they have. Their cheese and beer selection is absolutely insane!! I usually get cheeses from Trader Joes in Danbury since they have a really wide variety of choices, but I honestly might just make the drive here from now on because their selection is just THAT good. Aside from that, all of their prepared food looked so good! Their selection was great. The layout was interesting and I kind of had to scramble and familiarize myself but I found what I needed in no time.

I purchased some prepared food for my family to have for dinner. We were very disappointed. The fried chicken was very dry, the artichokes had the best part, the choke removed! Also, artichokes were tough and very garlicky. The pumpkin soup was heavy on the nutmeg . Unfortunately we ended up throwing most of it away and it was as you can imagine pricey. We did however enjoy the teriyaki chicken, it was tasty & moist. I do recommend that if you are going to purchase prepared food, taste it first!

Love shopping at DeCicco & Sons, but the hot bar is so unpredictable. I keep giving it a chance, and my outcome is usually the same. The chicken, the sausage and onions, and ribs are always hard and dry, the potatoes are over roasted. They are either reheating/reserving food or the Cook is over-cooking. Just once, Id like to not through my $$ in the garbage. Today I had the Chicken Marsala, the gravy was very tasty, but the chicken, again is very dry. Help!!

Great shopping experience and selection. Their hot bar is hit or miss depending on the day. The beer selection though, BEST around. Not only do they have an amazing bottle selection (mostly cold) they have a beer bar in the store. They usually have some great tap selections to choose from! Bring your growlers, they will fill them up for you!

Great food, fast, friendly service, meats, fish, baked goods, beer, & pizza by Sal. All at great prices in a very clean store! Have you tried the coffee bar? My favorite item is their home made pineapple salsa. Absolutely delicious! Also happens to be the best beer & wine bar in the area. The tap take-overs are the best!

Excellent and top quality which the area has needed for a very long time! New one opened recently in Chappaqua and a proposed one for the new Somers Crossing project... cant wait.. a pleasure shopping in their markets.. wonderful prepared foods in a beautiful atmosphere..

A nice selection of foods. Great beer selection as well. Very spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great place to go food shopping in. Sometimes have car shows in the parking lot during the weekend on warmer days.

Nice but expensive. Has things other markets dont have. If a Trader Joes or a Stew Leonards was closer they probably would not do the business they do. A little out of the way but that is not a bad thing
