Tried to take my wife out for good Italian food and received chicken wings in sauce which they called chicken scarpiello. Literally 10 chicken wings for around 30 dollars. This place has started serving over priced mediocre pizzaria food at best! It really is unbelievable how much the food quality declined as they became more popular. So if your wife asks for Italian, save yourself self some money and go to a pizzaria like Phills pizza in massapeua. Or lapiazza in Merrick.....

This place is great , the food is to die for , we ordered the mixed appetizer ( stuffed mushrooms, fried calamari,baked clams, shrimp scampi), rigatoni la famiglia, and the veal Rosario ..... ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! Everyone that works there is very friendly and attentive to our needs, it is A MUST TRY.

Attended a group party here a few weeks back, and the food was a bit slow, but decent. Nothing bad, nothing particularly outstanding. The private party room upstairs is spacious and completely separated from the rest of the restaurant.

Excellent food. It was completely empty on a Tuesday at 8:45 when we came in. The portions are huge. Shared the linguine with white clam sauce between the two of us and we ate only half of it. Definitely coming back

Very good quality on food offered with excellent delivery by chefs. Waiters and their assistants present everything professionally making the event quite enjoyable. I would recommend La Famiglia without hesitation.
