I have been a resident of Wyckoff, NJ for 31 years. Ive frequented Starbucks in Wyckoff since it was added to the upscale Boulder Run shopping center many years ago. The entrance was recently beautified when Boulder Run was expanded and modernized in 2008 & 2009. I also visit other Starbucks in New Jersey a few times a week. To my shock, yesterday afternoon I used the rest room at Starbucks in Wyckoff, and without going into detail, lets just say it was disgusting. This ruined my coffee experience and gave me pause about coming back to this particular location, which is otherwise clean and environmentally safe. Suggestion to Starbucks management: Please check the bathroom periodically, and put up a sign "Please keep this rest room clean and safe. Any problems please contact Manager." Theres a Starbucks in Franklin Lakes, Midland Park and Ridgewood, but I love the one in my town and I hope they will take more care in this area. Thank you.

First off my visit was on Mothers day. My mother wanted a medium (Grande I think) English breakfast tea made in a venti cup. It turned out that she got a Grande or medium tea. I ordered a latte macchiato venti with soy. The steamed soy had a taste like it was sitting around for a while. So it had a flat and old taste/mouth feel. Also when I got the drink it wasnt hot, it was more lukewarm. Other things about my visit was the wait time. For two drinks it took 15 minutes to make. The employees seemed like they were behind and understaffed for the day. Not related to my experience but I saw another gentleman get a gift card in apology for not having his drinks made. Overall I would not go back to this Starbucks. It was not worth the wait and the money spent on it.

Usually its pretty crowded and the wait is long but thats usually mitigated by the nice outside seating and the fireplace inside. They used to not have decaf brewed which was annoying but theyre better with that now. Tonight though we got pretty upset. The store closes at 11 and we got here at 10:25. We were looking for a dessert and coffee. When we tried to order, nothing was in the showcase except for 1 morning bun that the staff wouldnt warm up because the oven was shut off. When we asked about getting anything else, we were told everything was thrown out. Im surprised Starbucks wouldnt think to donate leftover desserts to a local charity. Very disappointing and the worst is that this hasnt happened before. Its just the first time I decided to write about it.

There were 6 girls working and it might as well have been 1. I dont frequent this Starbucks but when Im visiting Im always annoyed. Everyone is nice but the service is incredibly slow and the employees are always unprofessional. Today the girls were arguing over who would fix the sink and one girl loudly told the other that she needed to concentrate and focus on the orders she was taking. The girl was in tears and I felt pretty bad for her being humiliated in front of the whole line waiting to order.

I dont like Starbucks in general, but this one is good: they have the Clever system for a really good cup of coffee and the baristas are happy, nice and accommodating. Gets a bit crowded, though.
