At first I was like 4.9 stars!! No way ! But now I get it. Food: delish. Almost too much flavor (if there is such a thing) Dish size: Enormous. I always finish my plate because of the starving children. But. I... I just... I just couldnt. (Im sorry mom) Atmosphere: comfortable on this hot summer day. Clean. Equal parts patriotic and foreign. Service: Amazing. Generous. Sincere. Humorous. Flattering. When I was 2/3 done with my bottled water the gentleman brought me a second. I said "no thanks. One is fine" and he replied "No. No. This from us" as he continued to provide water to everyone in the restaurant. Im not sure if it is like this every day but I get why they have a 4.9 now. Would recommend. Will return.

I was told by a friend about Afghan Kabob. Her and her husband love eating there. She described it to me and I could not wait to go. We ate lunch there...WOW! The food is beyond delicious. Its fresh and cooked to perfection. The service you receive is top notch! They were very courteous and polite. You feel very welcome there. Again, the food is so delicious. I will most definitely be going back again and again and again. They are not open on the weekends so make sure to get your "fix" before the weekend arrives. I would give it 10 stars if I could. You should definitely try Afghan Kabob...Youre missing out on a great experience if you dont.

Went in with an open mind. I had heard from multiply people how they liked it. Talked my wife into checking it out. The Three cousins I meet told me after eating their food I would be on here writing a review for them. I must say I was like ya whatever I have never written a review for anyone. But to my surprise here I am doing exactly what they had said. So my wife and I got the lamb and chicken plates it was so much food and so good we couldnt even finish it. The cousins are very nice cool people I recommend everyone here goes in and meets these cousins and hear their stories and eat their food.

Where do I start, okay, well, at first it looks closed and they are on weekends, but when you get in and sit down and get ready to order, the portion on the menu looks average. It smells great and when you take that first bite with everything mixed in OMG, BOOM, That just happened, AMAZING food. I personally enjoy middle eastern food, but this place blew all the other places out of the water, forget elegant, this is what you want.Okay, so theres more. Great staff, great personalities and positive energy. I wish they moved to Miami, I would eat at this place everyday. Thanks Habibi. Will miss you guys.

Out of all of the places I have been to during my short visit here, this was by far the best. While it seems a little expensive at first, in hindsight I would probably be willing to pay twice that for this food. I had the lamb kabob, and it was FANTASTIC. The chickpeas you put on your rice and salad are great, but the plentiful meat is so well seasoned and flavorful, I was sad to see it end. Everything is served on a bed of rice, and you are guaranteed to be full after. The employees are very hospitable! I cant say enough good things about this gem, and they deserve the best in the future!

Outstanding Food! I am a huge fan of middle eastern food and this place is top notch. Call ahead or risk waiting, they are a small operation and they take pride in their food being very fresh! The owners are very hospitable and truly appreciate their customers. (I recommend calling ahead especially if you are in a group.) Pretty basic menu but when you keep it simple you can not go wrong! I recommend the chicken and lamb combo and top it off with some baklava, which the owners will be happy to heat up for you.

I spent the last six months in Afghanistan and ate at a lot of Afghan restaurants. By far, the best Afghan food is at Afghan Kabob in Wrightstown NJ, right outside the gates of JBMDL. Customer service is awesome and you are guaranteed to get a FRESHLY cooked meal when you walk in the door. The extra time to cook the food is worth it. If you are in a rush, call ahead. Bring a good appetite; you will not be disappointed! I drive from another state over an hour away just to get eat here. Its that good!

Simply amazing. The owner is a character, super friendly and funny. The food is wonderful. One thing to note is that this is not a fast food place as they will tell you. They cook everything to order so sometimes there is quite the wait. Ive actually seen them tell people they are not taking any more orders, almost seems rude in this day in age but theyll tell you that your wait would be too long. I dont fault them for that. Great restaurant all around.

Phenomenal food, phenomenal customer service. Im just in town for the week for work, and looked for reviews here and on Yelp for something local. I have never had Afghani food before and now I know I was missing out. The portions are huge, way more then I could finish, the owner gave me some awesome advice to try the chickpeas over salad. My advice is go hungry and bring cash, they dont take cards.

I heard this was an excellent spot by my friends, needless to say it exceeded my expectations. The best hospitality and customer service Ive ever received in my life. The gentleman who works there made great conversation while we waited for our food and was exceptionally kind. We received huge portions of food as well, Id rate 10 stars if I could, definitely will be back

Owner is super-accommodating and very friendly. Flavor is so good that it has spoiled me for other Afghan joints - I dont know what spice combination he uses to get the chicken and lamb so tasty but its addictive. Whenever Im in the area I have to get take-out for my girlfriend or she wont forgive me. As other mentioned, be sure you have cash.

The food was so fresh and delicious, hands down the best food we have had since weve been in town. I would even say the best kabob Ive ever had. The owner really made the whole experience. I have never been treated with such gracious hospitality at a restaurant. A really wonderful experience all around and we will be returning very soon.

Absolutely epic! They have amazing food, very friendly customer service and the facility is very clean. They do offer more food than whats on the menu as well. I heard from a guy to get the "Armin Special". Picked it up and it was the best Ive had from there. I highly suggest picking it up. Great place to suit down with the family too.

Ive lived around this place my entire life and never thought to try it. decided I wanted something different and this place was open. I am soooooooo glad I did. This is the best middle eastern food I have ever had. Even better than all the places Ive tried in NYC. If you like middle eastern food youll love this.
