THE MANAGER! Stefanos Nyktas. What an absolute @$$hole!! We walked in after a long day of tubing. Had a great day with friends floating down the river. The wait staff seemed kind and friendly but from right when we walked in the door the manager was an absolute a**h***. Not to mention The food was over priced for what it was. We ordered our pizza at the counter seeing as no one was waiting as a hostess to seat us. We sat down and waited. Took a while to get the food but Im a patient man. When our pizza is ready the manager yells over to us "your pizza" and points down the counter when he was obviously not busy and could have handed it to us as we were sitting at the table a couple feet from he was. My girlfriend got up, smiled and thanked him and walked to the other side of the store to get the pizza anyways. She is a server herself and always tries to make a point to be very polite to those in the food industry. We had already sat down hoping to enjoy it in the restaurant. My girlfriend walked over to the counter and said "Im sorry to bother you, but could we grab a few plates for our pizza?" The manager then told us we couldnt stay inside because we couldnt take the gratuity away from the wait staff. He said eating inside was for if we were dining in. We were completely fine with paying a good tip and we told him this but his voice became more aggressive and he pretty much kicked us out despite us being polite towards his inappropriate behavior. So we ate the pizza on my tailgate of my truck. He soon was giving us dirty looks as he followed us outside to smoke a cigarette. At this point we were outraged. We were paying customers and had been nothing but polite and this guy seemed to be taking the disappointment in his own life, and taking it out on us, for no reason at all. Maybe he saw my girlfriends polite and understanding demeanor as a perfect punching bag and was hoping to provoke me to get physical, as his body language suggested. Wanting to get away from this unstable dude and still get our point across, we decided to leave the pizza box on the ground by the vehicle outside the store. He didnt see until I was just backing up out of the parking lot. He then started coming after us, yelling with a threatening voice and posture. I then proceed to flip him the bird and then he asked me to step out and "talk this man to man". He picked up and looked as if he were going to throw the pizza box at us. I flipped him the bird again and he said "I figured youd say that"!! We left. Ive never been so insulted at a restaurant in my life by a business owner. Especially in front of my friends and family. This was extremely rude and unprofessional and I would not recommend this place to anyone at the risk of being threatened and embarrassed over sub par food. Just keep on going down the road and find somewhere better to eat.

What happened to this place? Lets start off with the great. The scrapple was amazingly uniform. The cooking was perfect. It almost seems too perfect considering the rest. The bacon: Its bacon. How can you mess this up? I think the the cost came out to about $1 per slice. It tasted like someone cut off a few slices of last nights ham and fried them up. This is an easy fix. Buy better bacon. Im sure people rave about it. Theyre also, probably, the ones that are chatting up the waitress in the morning. The specialty crepes: Im not sure what the crepe is possessing, but... well, its not greatness. Greasy onions, peppers, and beans slid into a french tortilla is a bad idea. The potatoes are a side, but they deserve some attention. How old were they. There were two customers in the place. How could potatoes get dried out unless they were old? Condiments: I get Heinz costs a lot. At least go with Hunts. Red Vinegar Paste isnt helping the food. Once the level of the food comes up, you wont want to detract from it with this ketchup. Overall, its breakfast. It takes effort to screw it up. Go back to the basics and keep the "uptown" specialties to a minimum. I saw the sign in the place begging people to reccommend Nutts for "Diners, drive-ins, and whatever else the show is called" for being hometown comfort with uptown flavor or some other such nonsense. Stop betting on a TV show to save the business. Make simple, quality food and grow your business that way. Pics included for illustration.

First time having breakfast. It was perfect -- tasty and good size portion. . Spinach, Artichoke & Feta Omelet with home fries. My friend had a turkey sandwich with various add-ons. He loved that it was fresh carved turkey not processed. It was delicious for him. Friendly and efficient wait staff. I have enjoyed lunch there many times. Fantastic inventive sandwiches as well as really well prepared old standbys. Awesome fried chicken, very crispy outside and moist inside. Seating is unique: colorful picnic tables outside, air conditioned area inside and a covered patio area not air conditioned but with a nice decor and ambiance of greenery surrounding the patio. Any attire is okay including cycling wear (bicycles) and motorcycles along with family casual. Strongly recommend this unique restaurant.

October 12 2014 - place was packed but seated immediately. Table was not clean and we had to have someone clean it. Waitress took our order and we waited. And waited. And waited. People come in after us and get their food before we do. At this point we were waiting 20+ minutes for food. Another almost 10 minutes go by until we get what we ordered. Grilled ham and cheese on rye was not hot all the way through with wet ham in the middle and cheese was nowheres near melted. Black and bleu burger was missing the bleu cheese. Fries were store-bought Ore-Ida coated fries; nothing special. Didnt bother to complain as we would have waited another long time to get things fixed. Two years ago the food was great and now - not so much.

7/2/2015 My wife stopped in to your fine restaurant around 6;00 p.m. and ordered your Specialty Salad "Chopped Antipasto"!!! It is listed for $12.95 on your online menu but was charged $14.95 and the bill came to $16.00 total? My wife paid and was waiting for her salad about 5 minutes when your worker came out and said we dont have time to make it and gave my wife back her $16.00!!! This is the way you pride yourself in serving your customers?? Needless to say you will not be getting anymore business from us and we will be letting all our friends on facebook know about this pitiful service you can count on that!!!

Well my boyfriend and I decided to come by to get a treat from a long walk and after getting the ice cream, my boyfriend asked how much was a slice of carrot cake was and the owner of the place told him the price in a rude tone and was disrespectful towards him about the price of the carrot cake. God forbid if we asked him how much the entire cake was and would of tore off our heads and threw them into the woods. That was unprofessional and rude service especially when asking a simple question. "Its nutts...well it sucks." Also I wanted butter pecan ice cream and it was soggy asf...really?
