Went to get St. Josephs Pastries and figured that since I work close to the pastry shop and heard great things about it, I desided to stop in. When I returned home to eat one, I was not impressed. There was hardly any cannoli cream, dough was dry, and WAY over priced!!!($2.95) If anyone wants a GREAT Italian pasty shop and doesnt want to get ripped off ,go to the Lyndhurst Pastry shop in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. They are a traditional Italian pastry shop that is run by a dedicated family that is willing to provide for its customers. AND they charged $1.95 for their St. Josephs Pasteries!!

Our family has been going to Rispoli for as long as I can remember. Even now that I live in Rockland Cty. we travel there frequently for the pinoli cookies. Unfortunately I will be seeking a new place for my cookies as the past few times myself and my family have been VERY disappointed. After spending over $60 on the cookies for Thanksgiving, we sadly came to find, only when we openingthe box in anticipation, the majority of the cookies were WELL DONE, and thats putting it nicely. Sorry Rispoli, I feel you are sacrificing quality for quantiy these days.

Theres no better authentic Italian pastry in Bergen County! I have been buying delicious desserts from Rispolis since I was able to drive to pick it up for my family! For anyone who has written anything less than 5 stars, Im betting if you called to let the owners know, they would be more than happy to try to satisfy. From my experience, the family is extremely nice and are willing to accommodate their customers.

ent there today because the wife loves Pignoli Cookies. I picked up a pound of those. Tried the Lobster Tails. OMG!!!!! they are so good. The creme is light and airy and flavorful and the Shell has a yummy crunch. The cookies were to die for good . soft and gooey. Also picked up some Cannoli. Wow they were all so good. The place is real clean and the staff was real friendly. This is my new pastry spot.

It was sunday. They close at 2pm. I didnt know. I call 5 minutes to close asking if i can go at 230 to pick up the best lobster tail pastry in the country the nice young lady put me on hold and she said yes we will wait for you. To me the pastry are awesome but to have them wait for past close time exceeded my expectations thank you so much. Love you guys. I cant put in to words how nice that was.

Bad service. I didnt know how to use the coffee machine and someone came to help me but the coffee spilled, then she went to get something to dry and never spoke to me and then went to clean another place leaving me without explanation. It was a confusing situation. The cakes are good, but nothing special.

I have always loved lobster tails. Turns out I only love Rispolis lobster tails. Once you have had the best, nothing else is worth the calories. Hands down, best bakery ever. People always rave about the pastries I bring. They have never tasted lobster tails as good as these and I agree!

Im 52 years old and Ive been eating these cakes my entire life love the rum cake with cannoli filling with either peaches or strawberry just phenomenal best lobster tails ever I could go on and on but do yourself a favor stop by and experience one of these culinary Delights

Great little bakery. Well known for their cannoli and cookies. Only thing I would avoid is the cream puff, the filling has a liqueur that tastes funny. Oh and its a bakery that only makes bread on Sundays, kind of silly. -1 star for that.

I ordered a Napoleaon cake for a birthday party that I was giving. The cake was just another cake with filling. It did not have crunchy layers like a Napoleon cake should. After paying over $50 for it I was very disappointed.

Best Italian pastries in the U.S.A. Canolies, lobster tail pastry, eclairs, cookies by the pound. All you can think of. Plus they make and decorate cakes that are beautiful. There is always a pot of coffee on gratis.
