Ill start with the food I thought it was decent overall Ive had several items off the menu and I found them all to be somewhat enjoyable with the exception of the hot wings not done enough nor did they have the flavor I expected after the waiter spoke so highly of them. great atmosphere nice place to just stop in and grab a bite to eat the only problem I had was with the waitresses a few of them walk around like theyre Gods gift to the planet and ignore the the male patrons unless youre a white male and when family and there friends walk in they ignore their other customers and run to them and treat them like royalty while other people are still waiting for beverages or meals to be served to them the biggest problem I have is that waitressing is your job to serve all people who come into your establishment not the ones you pick and choose because theyre of a different color and some of these young ladies act like theyre Gods gift to the planet and that everybody wants them and thats so far from the truth that its just not real they need to get a grip on themselves get into their little waitressing jobs and forget about whos looking at them or how they look because everybody doesnt want them or desire them i was simply there to grab a drink and get something to eat and one thing is for sure you cant hide your personal prejudices you try to pretend that youre not but you can always tell a fake You Cant Hide who you are on the inside

This is one of my favorite places to hang out! Always a nice staff, yeah sometimes they get a little busy but as long as I got a drink in my hand Im good! Always a lively mixed crowd! For bar food though, its truly a step above. And I love the fact that if I want wings they will make them naked and put the sauce on the side. And their prime rib and steak are served as intended, with the fat on. A lot of people dont like the fat (I am not a big fan myself, but my husband was in heaven), but: that is the proper way to serve these particular cuts of meat as the fat aids in the cooking and keeps the meats flavorful. Hats off to them serving these cuts the proper way. Check the place out you wont be disappointed!

I have to say, The Waiting Room is a pretty good spot. I love the look and design; the prices are more than reasonable. If youre looking to watch the game, chill while listening to music, and/or have a pretty darn decent meal with your choice of beer...the waiting room might just be your ticket! I recommend the steak sandwich with provolone, sweet potato fries and a Sam Adams Seasonal ; )

We came to this restaurant after reading the reviews. Just fyi, this is a seat yourself place First the good Decor is the nice, kid friendly, staff nice once you get talking. Food was awfully fast and tasty. Great portions. The bad Sat for 20 minutes with 3 separate staff asking if we were being helped (we werent), then pretending that we were.

Great casual bar with excellent food. They not only have great typical bar food like wings, nachos, and onion rings but also put their own spin on their menu like potato pancakes and delicious chicken-mushroom quesadillas. If theres a game on they have it projected onto one of the walls and usually have some drink specials.

Bartenders are great, so dont forget to tip them well. The monthly specials menu always has good options, like carnitas mac & cheese or shrimp tacos. Burgers are well seasoned. Sandwiches are on point. Sweet potato fries are yummy. Also, they make their own Caesar dressing, so order it on your side salad!

Honestly, the BEST! We had a 30 person luncheon here and from planning with Chris the owner to execution the day of, everything was awesome! The bartenders were on point and the service staff the absolute best! Even if you just want to get a burger and drink, this is the spot to check out. Love!

Weve been coming here for years and I cant say enough good! The service is always awesome, the beer selection is excellent and the food - from the appetizers to the fries to the rib eye - is awesome. Weve had everything on the menu and have NEVER been disappointed! Best nachos, too!

The Waiting Room is a fabulous place to get a bite to eat. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff is more than accommodating. The burgers are great and they have a wide selection of beers on tap. Definitely a staple of Rahways downtown community.

Food was horrible.Had a prime rib sandwich.There was more fat than meat.I think my dog would turn it down. Service wasnt too good either.Complained to manager to no avail.Guess they dont need customers
