I just came home from being at this location. Ive been going here on and off for 15 years. Im from here. The only reason Im leaving one star is because the waitresses were very good. HOWEVER: for some reason, my card didnt work. I understand that this happens. But perhaps in the future, the unprofessional manager should take the approach that I am the customer and his equipment isnt working properly; Instead of, Im obviously at fault, and draw everyones attention to me being addressed as someone who doesnt have enough to pay. I had to leave my to-go dinner at the bar, go to my credit union and take money out on the very card that doesnt work at this location . Did they reheat my dinner? NO..did they offer me a beer or say sorry for having equipment thats wanted by the Smithsonian? NO..was the manager around to say anything? NO I had to pay over $50 for a cold meal and for feeling like an idiot...NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again!

Disappointing: wont be back I would give 1 star but the waitresses were great. Food was quite bad and very expensive. Ordered a medium steak which came out cooked to shoe leather. Normally I will just eat a well done steak, but it was so tough I had to send it back. The waitresses were great in handling it for us. We ordered mild wings but got the hot wings instead. They werent too good either. Drinks were expensive and they charged extra for premium liquor. I know some places do that but It was pricey to say the least. $10 for a mixed drink is quite excessive.

This place is good, good food, for the local, good selection of beer, they have a fried chicken witch I recommend and prime rib also good. The only observation is sometimes there foods looks pre-heated like the potatoes skins where cold in the middle, and thrown together. But this is a place for locals and to have a good time. This is no ddd (Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives).. But it doesnt have to be. Good place to go and hang out and have good food!

Great place for casual dining. The food is delicious, the portions are plentiful (always a take home bag for me), and the preparation is alway good. Great specials, my husband LOVES prime rib night. Some of the appetizers are large enough to be a meal. Reasonably priced-a great value.

The Brass Rail is a staple of the Phillipsburg area. Great neighborhood bar to grab a beer and chat with the locals. Plus the staff is pleasant and very prompt to refill your drink. There is decent size dine-in area if youre just looking to stop for a meal.

This place is AMAZING!! the best tacos, great wings.. amazing cocktails! I love it. P.S their "Golden spicy" (home made sauce) is the best sauce ever.. it goes well on anything: wings, tacos, nachos EVERYTHING!

Worst pulled pork sandwich I ever had. Mostly bread with a little fat, meat, and chopped pickles. Total rip off. BBQ was vinegar with something else added to it. Also too spicy hot. This place is a dive bar

For this area in NJ, I might suggest another star since it is Philipsburg. Food is better than expected.... Wings are good, Guinness is fresh. Calamari is decent. Service can be a little slow.
