I hope that one day the dreadful corridor that is Tilton Road will be blessed with an authentic Mexican restaurant. Today is clearly not that day, and Chido Burrito is certainly not that establishment. While they make humble attempts to infuse Jack Johnson-inspired hippy coolness into ones dining experience, the grumps that greet you and prepare your food Chipotle-style are less than welcoming. When venturing there to eat what would be my final Chido Burrito, my burrito builder was apparently annoyed that she had to stop texting her friend Chelsea, or something in order to perform what was probably her most essential duty. I will say that Chido offers a great many options, but I would much rather my burrito be constructed with love, and so I will opt for some fresh veggies and beef and other makings at Shop Rite, rather than cardboard surfboards and whispery Jack Johnson sighs and counter girls rolling their eyes. Not cool, Chido Burrito. Not. Cool.

La comida es súper fresca, desde la carne hasta el más mínimo ingrediente, el sabor de la comida aquí es muy diferente a otros lugares con el mismo tipo de menú, mí carne favorita es el puerco, no se como lo hacen pero sabe delicioso. El lugar en general siempre está limpio ó hay algún empleado limpiando y recogiendo. Empleados amistosos y rápidos para servir, mí esposa y yo hemos ido en varias ocasiones y la experiencia siempre ha sido súper buena.

I honestly only go here because its closer to my house than Chipotle and my husband enjoys this place. The flavors are good, but the portions are stingy. I mean, is it okay to just let one extra piece of shrimp slip into my fish tacos? They count them and then cut them in half to make me feel like there are more. I do enjoy their queso and their selection of salsas. I still prefer Chipotle better, but this place will do in a pinch. I purposely order different meals there than I would from Chipotle so that I wont compare the two and try to enjoy my meal. At certain times of day, the line is crazy long but there is a sign posted that tells you only 5 min from ordering.

Ive ordered several burritos (beef, pork, fish) at Chido Burrito and Ive always been happy with my order. The mission-style burrito is a bit better value as you get a heaping amount of rice and beans included, but the tacos (soft or hard) are good if you arent quite as hungry. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the available salsas were very good. Perhaps in the southwest you can get a better burrito, and my memories of Chipotle put it a bit above Chido. But as there arent any Chipotles within 50 miles, this is the best place to get an overloaded burrito in the area.

Amazing. I have Celiac sprue disease and have a difficult time eating out with my family. Not only did the lady know exactly what I was talking about, she changed her gloves, opened a new pack of the corn tortillas for me, and got the rest of the ingredients from the back to be certain that they werent possibly cross contaminated, without me having to ask or beg. I am so impressed by this place and the young lady associate in particular. It is the Tilton road in Northfield, NJ restaurant.

This used to be my go to spot last year. I raved how it was better than chipotle but recently theyve been lacking flavor. Theyre still good but not as good as they used to be. Also I was unhappy with my visit today because the workers seemed rude and unhappy, I was only given 9 chips with my order (that needed salt severely) , and the chicken was very dry. The beans were also had a bit of a soapy taste which is what happens when they start going bad

I would recommend this place to any and everyone. I ate there today, walked in and was immediately greeted by a smile (thanks Katie), then when about to sit down, associate immediately came to clean the table (thanks Michael)...upon telling the owner of her wonderful staff, the owner was so happy, she was very pleasant and I was happy to report the good news to her. Keep up the great work over there!! Your rocking the Chido!!!

Or familys favorite place. We like to stop by Sunday afternoon after church for lunch. I have tried almost everything on the menu and have not had a bad meal yet. The only thing I dont eat is the fish tacos because Im not a fan of talapia. Staff is very friendly and helpful. All the ingredients are laid out before you, just tell them what you want. Average price for adults is$9.

Out of all the burrito places I have to say this is my favorite. Ive been enjoying the fish tacos recently but everything is great. The salsa is good and all the ingredients are fresh. Its great to find a place where the employees are happy to work there. Although this isnt a cheap lunch but it is a lot of good food.

Love the laid back vibe and the outdoor seating! Nice way to grab a quick bite in a relaxed environment. The sauces and salsas are fantastic; and there are vegetarian options as well. If you are trying to limit your carbs the rice bowl is super filling and you can design it anyway you like.

Great local California-style mexican restaurant with excellent ingredients, a friendly staff, and a taste that will have you coming back for more. Laid back feel with "surf" decor and TVs showing endless loops of the ocean complete the atmosphere. Good for families and business lunches alike.

I come here for the fiesta trio. (Thats a taco, soup, rice and beans $5.50) I prefer this place over the other big chain mexican places, Chipotle and Moes. For one thing the chips arent heavily salted like at Moes, and the salsa seems better. Itd be nice if the ordering was more streamlined.

Want to watch surf competitions on video, listen to great music and eat a burrito as big as your head? Then this is the spot. Food and service are top notch, atmosphere is a bit of a Jimmy Buffet wet dream but its a surf themed spot so thats alright.

Excellent food. Fast service. You specify type of item, such as taco, rice bowl, etc. Then type of meat or veggies, and then choose from 20 or so items, such as onions, cheese, corn salsa, beans (black or pinto), etc.

I like their chicken salad. Add your own toppings. The portion is a little large. Could be enough to feed 2 people with small appetites or not really hungry or want to leave room for something else.

Great place, more meat choices then most places and you can see them cooking it on the grill. Its usually pretty busy so the food is fresh. Deffinitly worth a try if your in the area.
