I have been coming here for a while and the food-staff-location-price is great. Last week, we ordered 3 pancakes(Brazilian Style) that we had to call and congratulate the cook for such an excellent job. I hope the best for it to grow and serve our brazilian community. Thank You ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I changed from 5 stars to 1 because they are not doing like they were before. * took over 40 minutes to fry 6 lunches that i called to pick up. * they didnt have 3 of the stuff i asked. * they stopped doing the Nutella/Banana/strawberry panqueca they used to do. * prices are top on chart. My 6 lunches came to $18. Very sad.

When it comes to a traditional Brazilian bakery, you cannot go wrong with Betel. I can assure you that my Portuguese language skills are terrible and the Betel staff still have a smile on their face as I order. In just a few weeks of visiting and grabbing my favorite Brazilian sandwiches and pastries, the staff have made me feel like a regular that is always welcome. Its businesses like Betel Bakery that are the reason Newark is going in the right direction.

Place is pretty solid. Guy who served me was very nice. Plenty of pastries to pick from and a big menu. Atmosphere is not offering much but who goes to a bakery expecting random nic-nacs stapled to a wall to help them relax? This aint applebees. Have your coffee, some bread and chill out. On par with other 24 hour eateries in the area. 5 stars well done.
