Sunday evening about 7pm. It took 20 minutes for our waitress to come to the table ... we were going to leave. Then another 10 to get menus and put in an order to eat there. Another 20 minutes plus goes by while our waitress is eating dinner at the counter. I understand they need to eat but shouldnt the nice paying customer get served first ? We finally get served and of course it was missing the additional side order of onion rings I placed. I said something and we get a plate with 5 pieces on it. Great. Burger was over cooked and dry. Waitress left at 8pm. New waitress stopped by once then disappeared for good. We have to eventually get the check from the manager at the front. Dont worry i didnt leave a tip and wont be going back.

Really good solid diner. Wish I could give it 4.5 stars. I like to hold the 5s for best of the best. This doesnt quite make it, but its pretty close. Service is always rough, but the food is good and the prices are very reasonable. Problem with service is just that its always busy, so wait staff get confused, orders get mixed up, drink refills get forgotten, etc... Nothing terrible, and theyre usually super nice if you can catch them and let them know somethings wrong, but if youre not one to speak up, you could be waiting a while for a refill. Otherwise, this is a pretty solid go to for the whole family, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Ive never left in a bad mood, and I frequently dine with a two-year-old, so theyre doing something right.

I dont get this place. Parking is terrible. Service is fair at best. Had them mess up two eggs with home fries. Its packed all weekend. Weve had simple orders get messed up and Ive never liked any of the food Ive gotten from an omelette to pancake to lunch and I just never liked it. I was so upset when I heard Friendlys in NP was bought out because it was the only breakfast/lunch place in town that was great. This place stinks. I wouldnt suggest it.

Ordered a burger medium rare tonight. Came to me raw. I sent it back and asked them to give me a new burger. It appears they reformed the same burger and cooked it well done and brought it out to me. Unbelievable. Should have given me complete meal free of charge. Not looking for a free meal, just a good one. Won t be going back. Broadway diner in Summit is much better. Tables in Prestige are too close together also.

Overpriced, terrible service, mediocre food. Should have gone to Chipotle. Ordered a salad & after waiting 50 minutes (salad should take 10) when I finally asked for it to go, was still charged the full price even though I politely informed them the wait was excessive. I felt it was the kitchens fault so still tipped - lost $23 and an hour of my life for some wilted lettuce.

We go to this diner once a week. The food is quite good for diner level fare. Breakfast can be slow. Wait staff is really enjoyable and the restaurant is clean. Owner is pleasant also. Being a food critic, some dishes come out unfinished IMO. For instance, salad dishes are not dressed appropriately and taste bland, but their homemade soups are exceptional!

I came here the day after Hurricane Irene. Maybe the bread was stale because of the hurricane, so Ill be lenient about that. They didnt serve bread or cheese with the pasta, you have to ask for it. Burger is small, maybe only 4-5 oz. Coffee is typical bad diner coffee. Cole slaw is disgusting as well. Overpriced. Avoid this place at all costs.

This is an excellent diner. The only slight draw back is that it is so good that there tends to be a line. I had a fantastic Goat Cheese Wrap with goat cheese, onions, eggplant, mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes. I also tried the avocado fries, which were excellent. Kids had pancakes, which were very good.

Fantastic family diner. Our family has been coming here for over 11 years and we love it. Great food and atmosphere. Wonderful and attentive service. Owners walk around making sure your satisfied and happy sometimes even tops off your coffee. Big portions and delicious choices. Best diner in the area.

Everything on the menu is incredible. Ive been eating here since I was 11- the french fries are the crispiest Ive ever had. Diner food at its finest. Really sweet staff but they can sometimes be slow. Gets packed on a Sunday afternoon after the church across the street lets out.

The food is always fresh, the menu is vast and their lunch specials are great. However: If you order take-out, double check the order before you go home. They seem to have a problem with take out orders. 99% of the time our take out orders are WRONG! Has a liquor license.

Its not always easy to find a diner with such great food quality and presentation. The name suits it well. If you like tea, youll enjoy their selection. Ive been there for dinner twice in the past couple of weeks and will be coming back again soon for breakfast!

Its a Jersey diner, and they have a diverse menu. They have a combination of the typical diner fare plus some healthy options (think whole grains and some vegetarian meals). The wait staff is hit or miss, some of the ladies are lovely others are just okay.

Food is mediocre and overpriced, but the restaurant has a fairly nice atmosphere and is usually accommodating of large groups on short notice. They are, however, unreasonably slow when the restaurant has more than a few people in it.

This is a solid New England diner, with a whole lot of choices and lots of character. The food is what you would expect from diner food - its not going to blow you away, but the service is good and the prices are right.

My food was disgusting and the waitress never came back to ask how it was. It seemed like she could not give a damn about the food or the service. So many better and less expensive diner options in nj.

Believe theyve updated their recipes or something recently as the food is much fresher since my last visit (enjoyed the French toast immensely). Service has always been punctual & staff very courteous.

Great food, great prices, super friendly and accommodating owners, management and staff. I have my go-to meals here, but more importantly, its the place I run to when I dont know what I want to eat.

Excellent NJ diner in the area! Fairly recently redone and has a good diner feel with excellent food. Especially good omelettes and salads. On the weekend you can get brunch coffee cocktails.

Your typical diner. They recently did a re-model and made the booths for children...a 4 part booth really can fit 2 adults so make sure you ask for a table if you want to be comfy.

Wonderful typical Jersey diner, catering to all walks of life. Huge menu, pleasant staff, and always a great place for a warm cup of tea to catch up with an old friend.
