We have visited the minute man many times since new ownership and while the new owners are definitely friendlier than the previous employees that ran the place their staff is downright awful, no customer service, no personality and obviously no prior waiting experience. The menu is overpriced and food is hit or miss depending on who is in the kitchen. Today my family went back there for a late breakfast around 11 AM. We asked the waitress if they were serving lunch items and she said yes so we asked if they had the smoked jalapeño poppers and she said yes so my husband ordered them. When she brought them out they were not the smoked jalapeño poppers that we had before they were deep fried greasy pre-frozen jalapeño poppers that you could buy any fast food restaurant. When we explained thats not what we attended on ordering she said thats the only thing weve ever had. So for $8 we had greasy deep friend frozen appetizer. We also ordered a BLT wrap ($12 OUCH!) that was a hard flour tortilla stuffed with lettuce tomato and one thin slice of bacon no sauce no flavor no avocado like the menu stated it was awful! Our sons grilled cheese was toasted bread with cold cheese not melted and husbands breakfast was rubbery potatoes and microwaved sausage. Waitress never asked how our meal was, we had to walk to counter to ask for coffee refill then she brought it out but forgot the creamers, instead of asking us if we would like anything else or how our food was she placed the check on the table and walked away . The chef or owner came out of the kitchen and brought us a to go box for our sons cold sandwich we had to ask him for cream for the coffee and you did not ask if we enjoyed our meal. Nobody came to the counter to help us pay for our bill until a new waitress came in to start her shift. You would think they were busy but they only had two tables taken . Do not waste your time or your money going there. Our last three experiences were just as awful but my husband likes to give local businesses plenty of opportunities to wow him - keep the business local and boost our local economy . He says he will never go back and that says a lot

I really want these guys to succeed. But an entrance where the acoustic tiles are sagging, and an empty pie case when you walk in the door, presage a mediocre experience. I had fish and chips: three batter fried fish sticks that looked and tasted like they came out of a bag in the freezer, placed on top of nearly a pound of French fries. The rest of the meal was just as mediocre. And no pie?

The worst place I have ever eaten. The service is horrible and the food even worse. Took them almost an hour to get our food, thanks Heavens we were not starving. The chips was too dried and done with very old oil that its actually bitter. The toilets are so small and outdated. I wonder how they get health certification every year to operant. Will never go here again.

Very early dinner on a Sunday night. Food was good, the pulled pork was pretty good, bit dry, but nice and smokey. Kids menu was pretty good, portions were just right. The apple crumb pie was excellent. The wait staff was great. This place has been here forever and it seems to always be steady going on. Not to be missed for the pies, even if only for a slice.

Cozy casual place. The new owners are very personable and the food is basic but good. I have been there several times in the past year and am happy to go back. Good for families or if you just want to sit and talk for a long time -- the atmosphere is quiet and not rushed. They have a fireplace and I am looking forward to seeing it working this winter!

Love the pies!! First time here since the new ownership, and thought the wait staff was friendly and service great. The chef, or was it the owner, came out to check we were okay with the food. Very pleasant man. The good was good, my husband had one of the burger specials and really liked it. I plan to go back and try the bbq!

Service was not great very inattentive , tables and chairs sticky ! ecch. Food was flavorless ,pie was even worse, canned apple pie filling and mushy crust . Whomever says that this place is good does not know good grub. Really ,even the barbecue needs more barbecue! I would not return anytime soon or for that matter ever.

The Minuteman is a horrible place to go for real food. The only reason i gave this restaurant a 2nd star is b/c they make very good pies. Otherwise, the menu is very limited and the food quality is poor. The pricing on the menu does not reflect the food that is served. Menu needs an upgrade....

My poor little three year old received food poising after eating their strawberry pancake special when we stopped by after church. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place it is not worth the risk to your health.

Had a quick lunch today. Food was good. Service was great. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Atmosphere was cheerful, and there was a fire in the fireplace making it cozy. Great experience, good value. Will return!

Dont go! Sssslow service and our food was disappointing. Waitress doesnt check back with you, you cant get a refill on coffee very easily, or within 20 minutes, toast is served as warm bread, cold food. Blah!!!
