The best way that I can think of to describe this place is the toned-down, Panera-y, fast food cousin of P.F. Changs. I actually came here not really knowing what it was, I was under the impression that it was indeed like P.F. Changs. However, turns out that this is one of those places where you order behind the counter and then they bring you your food (just like Panera and the like). Long story short, I had the Ahi Avocado Salad and it tasted very flavorful and fresh. Ive yet to try Poke bowls but I would imagine this is what it tastes like. The one thing I was a little disappointed about was when I came home and looked up the nutrition information for this salad (this is always a bad idea, I know!), it turns out its actually not as healthy as its marketed to be, 760 calories, 40g of fat and 2000mg sodium! I really wanted for this place to be my destination for healthier options but unfortunately it doesnt look like it will be the case. Even so, I think I will be back to try the sushi because it looks yummy!

I ordered shrimp lo mein and it was the worse meal I have ever had....5 small and battered, why battered shrimp with no vegetables, shaved carrots and nothing but dry cold spaghetti that was hard and no flavoring on it at all...Never put in a wok because then the spaghetti would not have been white and all stuck together...My sister had the chicken lo mein....exactly the same description....Disgusting and cold and a rip off....Between the two of us, with drinks, we spent $20 for total garbage...Do not eat there....We complained to the gal picking up the dishes because she saw I didnt eat a thing but I certainly did not want anything else from this place....Cannot wait to help people on Facebook with this place......

On the up side. The food was good, freshly made and made exactly the way I wanted. On the down side. It felt like a fast food restaurant (think McDonalds). The tables were sticky, it was very loud and that included the background music, the mens room was disgusting. It takes 20 minutes to get your food. Thats because its made for you. Dinner was $20+ for two of us. Im not a big fan of these alternative fast food restaurants except for Panera Bread. In my opinion they do everything right.

I feel Im being generous with one star... I would recommend skipping out on this one, food was highly distasteful not to mention a disgrace to REAL Asian cuisine. Came out in less than 2 minutes and tasted like they kept putting sause on the chicken to make it taste "fresh" because it tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. I would have rather ate my shoe. Made my stomach turn. Dont trust pictures online. Nothing like what actually comes to you.

Tried them twice and each time was awful. The sushi seems like it prepared days in advance in a factory. Rice is cold and hard. They prep the sushi before serving with sauce to hide the terrible texture, freshness and taste. The other side of the menu does not get better. Greasy small portions must be the translation for Pei Wei. Again this restaurant uses sauce to hide the flavorless Asian food they serve. Avoid this chain store.

Highly disappointed and will not recommend to anyone. Food was mediocre at best, highly salty, sweet and artificial tasting. Not exactly pricey but definitely not worth any a mood money due to the low value/quality. Save your dollars and go somewhere else, anywhere else. Youre going to leave with a stomach ache and regret of what you just ate. Please dont even try it. Garbage food.

I really like their food but this location is so filthy its disturbing. Ive been waiting FOREVER and Im here on a Monday afternoon there are 3 employees and no customers. Every table has mounds of sauce and crumbs stuck to it. The worst part of all is the fact that my shoes are sticking to the floor!! This is the most unsanitary place Ive been to. McDonalds is cleaner.

At 1 pm, they only had 1 person at the register and 1 person when we got there. Food took awhile to come out and chicken was overcooked. The orange peel chicken tasted like it was doused with Tabasco sauce to make it spicy. Was very vinegary tasting. Not sure if its just this location or the whole chain, but I dont ever have to come back here.

Terrible customer service ! ! I had a restaurant for 20 years and these people dont care about customer service My Mom had to eat alone 20 minutes after me , this is the second time in 1 month it happens. The waiters are very rude. Please hire better people because the food is good. Thank you. Craig.

Really horrible egg rolls. Inedible. Have a glass of wine if you want, but do NOT eat here. Nice bartendress at the Tampa Airport location. They should just serve fried Wonton chips or something... but they dont even have yellow mustard for that! Really amazingly bad in this day and age...

Is Pei Wei is under new management? My husband, daughter and I went there to eat yesterday evening (7/31/16) and the food was horrible!!! It was one of our favorite places to go!!! Ill give them one more chance, but if the food is horrible again, I wont go back again.

I moved a year ago. The food then was delicious. This is second time going back since coming back to the area and the food was not so good. The chicken was hard....to hard to chew. I ended up throwing it away. Last time going...so sad because the food use to be yummy.

Horrible food. Never ever try Sushi there. We ordered California roll and it was served cold. We also ordered Kung pao chicken - this was the worst ever - dry and partially cooked that I am sure was cooked at least 3 days before.

Grate food, service, restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere. The food was perfect, but the crab wantons are too die for!!!! Food amount was perfect for the price. Over all Pei wei is definitely good eats!!

Not sure what you call this type but its definitely not chinese food. Shockingly, it has a decent crowd. If youve been to a decent chinese restaurant, you will be disappointed.
