Service here is HORRIBLE! Im sitting in the building as Im typing this. Ive been waiting for my check for over 20 minutes (the touch screen on the table is offline and we cannot pay through there) We were seated and there was a bug crawling on our table, the hostess said she didnt know what to do and was waiting for us to do something. Finally she asked of we wanted a different table and we were like uh yes. We moved no one wiped down the table or did anything about the bug and they sat other guests there. Our server Laney was just bad. She couldnt remember our drinks, could get our soups right etc. She was asking us to pass out the food (there were only 4 of us and 3 of us are former servers), and she actually said she didnt want to make two trips, not something she should complain about to your guests. She did not refill our drinks, and we had a thing for a free appetizer, which we gave her at the begining of the meal and she forgot to take it off and she would have charged us for it if we didnt check. It was an all around bad experience and not what I expect from Olive Garden. My mom and uncle are locals, and thought Olive Garden would be a decent dinner, we will not be coming back.

We visited this restaurant yesterday with an arrival time around 4pm. We were seated in a booth in the bar area and not quite sure why as there was not many people there at all. The room was cold and as it turned out, it accurately predicted the way the remainder of the visit would go. I ordered my favorite which and the chicken and gnocchi soup along with salad and bread sticks.The soup was too salty ( and I enjoy salty food ), the bread sticks were hard similar to what happens to bread when you heat it in the microwave. I also ordered the stuffed Chicken Marsala. There was far too much wine in the gravy and the chicken was over cooked with a brown crust. IT WAS AWFUL to say the least. Perhaps I should have mentioned something to the manager before leaving. Suffice it to say we are not going back to THIS Olive Garden and I highly recommend that if your considering having dinner out, avoid this place !!!!!

Just came from Olive Garden after my son’s 5th grade play on a Wednesday night. We waited 90 minutes for our food. The place was empty other than the table next to us who suffered the same unacceptable waiting time. By the time the food came my son was half asleep and the order was wrong. The other table boxed all of their food to go. The manager didn’t even have the nerve to come out and apologize himself he made the waitress do it with the ridiculous offer of dessert on at 9:20. It’s incomprehensible that we waited 90 minutes to eat with only two tables occupied. When the food finally came it was bland and overcooked. Don’t waste your time or money at the Olive Garden in Manahawkin. The food is poor and the service is even worse.

The last time I went here I got a moldy smelling salad plate that made me feel ill (I was in Military and used to scrap mold off food to eat when deployed, not picky). I ask for another plate for salad and it as the same. The manager came over and gave me a new one that was dried by her. She refused to smell the plate I sent back and the service was horrible. No one was there during the weekday either, just a lazy waitress. Needless to say I do not go here any more. I live in Barnegat but now drive to Toms River or Eatontown for Olive Garden.. such a shame .. I used to go all the time here but after 3 straight bad services I went elsewhere.

Was in last night and will never be back again. Everything is frozen and either deep fried or warmed up in the microwave. I ordered the chicken Marsala. My mash potatoes still had ice chips in it. After waiting over an hour for my food, you think it would have been microwaved a little longer. The chicken was definitely frozen and thrown in a conventional oven. My husband ordered the tour of Italy. It wasnt even edible. Wasted my money on bad food. The waiter was very good and I know the food his not his fault.

We like going here, though sometimes, like tonight, we get a server that has a word of phrase of the week. Her phrase of the week was right on it and by the 5th time of hearing it, I just wanted to ask for someone else that had a bit more of an expanded vocabulary! But at least she tried. I guess that it was better then the phrase no problem that so many of them use today.

7pm on a Friday night the place was about 2/3 full an we had to wait to be seated. I asked why we needed to wait since there were so many empty booths and I was told that the had to figure out servers tables. Seems to me that should have been done earlier. This is not the best olive garden. The Sept ford one is much better.

Id recommend trying the Italian margarita. Its pretty darn good. The meatballs were very garlicy and fell apart to easily, and the whole wheat linguine was a smidge over done, but for a dinner special I was a happy camper. Service was wonderful.

Staff was very confused at times. It wasnt busy but we felt rushed. No coffee or espresso available (machine was broken) never checked if everything was ok (It wasnt). Food was good price to quality but I wont recommend to eat here.

I felt the portion size of entrees was small compared to other Olive Garden. The food was average. And there was ambiguity in the service of unlimited bread,soup,salad compared to other Olive Gardens.

Amazing food and beautiful atmosphere. I love coming to this restaurant and cant wait to do so with the rest of my family. The staff are kind and the place is kept clean and friendly.

Romantic modern setting. Servers offered us wine to sample and take home. Recommend the breadsticks, soup and salad combo with an appetizer sampler.

Slow service, foods pretty good, but only a few items. Waitress was sloppy and scraped my straw with her arm at one point, didnt even say anything.

Good food and like the soup and salad lunch deal. Love the fact I can pay my bill right at the table so no waiting on the server if in a hurry
