Veganized has quickly become my favorite restaurant. As a vegan, I was quite surprised that New Brunswick would support a vegan restaurant. It just goes to show how great food trumps all. The key is that Veganized served real food. It doesnt focus on "fake" food to cater to carnivores. It is as close to a whole food plant based restaurant I have found. Every meal is great. I go to school down the block so I go there a lot. Their celery and leek soup is amazing. Their Fall in Love flat bread is as good as anything I have ever eaten. It caters to vegans and non-vegans because the food is that great. They are also a savvy business. My wife and I went there for their Thanksgiving five course meal. It was amazing yet we didnt feel disgusting. I am really impressed how busy it is especially given its off the beaten path location. Dmitri and the head chef are extremely friendly and welcoming. What a great addition to downtown New Brunswick. I just wish they would open a location in Hoboken! It would do so well there. Or anywhere for that matter. You need to go there often!

My aunt was recommended this cute little concept/fusion place by some colleagues at work; shed heard the ambience was worth dressing up for. While this was from the case, the food more than made up for our disillusionment. The restaurant is unpretentious, which is remarkable for any vegan(read, hipster) place these days. The service is sensible and the crockery, even more so, which was honestly a relief. The proprietor was warmly hospitable. We ordered a couple of wittily-named entrees, and a flatbread. The portions seemed unimpressive in the beginning, but by the end of our meal, we were regretting ordering the second flatbread. The zucchini lasagna was a clever concept and the cashew cheese, rather a novelty. The flatbread was lovely and light and we didnt feel overwhelmed by a food coma when we walked out. Thank you for a great meal without the guilt factor. :-)

The food was ok. Clean kitchen, kinda "up and coming", simple vibe. The service was awful. We got there around 1 pm on a Sunday and were told there is a 15 min wait - totally reasonable. We got seated, ordered and then waited an hour for our food. Even if they had to drive across New Brunswick to get the veggies, bring them back and cook them it would have taken shorter. Not only that, but in that hour our water glasses were not refilled once - the waiter kept passing by our table to serve and chat with the people he knew; my friend got up, took the pitcher from the serving table and we refilled our glasses ourselves. The bill for lunch, taking into account the wait time, was outrageous. Im never eating there again.

This is one of the best places to eat "Vegan" food that I have come across. Its "art," not "food." The staff is friendly and pleasant, its like being at home without having to cook or clean up. The food is sooooo good and I always leave feeling satisfied and full, without the negative effects being full from "non vegan food" can produce. It should be noted that I AM NOT a VEGAN and Ill eat a steak any day of the week. The food is so good, I hope you give it a try and come to love it as much as I!!!

The place was only half full when we arrived for lunch, but we waited OVER AN HOUR for food. When asked how everything was we let the cashier know the wait for the food was "alittle long". She became defensive and told us thats how it is. Why ask us in the first place if the restaurant doesnt want to hear constructive feedback? Food-wise.. the grilled oyster mushrooms were tasty but sweet potato wedges were soggy and sides of the Jerk BBQ was very bland. Overall a disappointing trip.

This was my second visit to Veganized and it was as enjoyable as my last visit. The service is fast, friendly and enjoyable. The food is tasteful and portions are substantial. The food at Veganized is flavorful and the presentation attractive. Almost all dishes include multiple ingredients and are treats of flavors and colors. Entrees range from $16 to $18 in most cases. I recommend Veganized to vegans and non vegans alike. A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.

My boyfriend is vegan and its often difficult to find restaurants that offer an all vegan menu. We found this restaurant on Happy Cow and we decided to give it a try. We were so glad we did. We dont live too close to the area but we still try to come here whenever we have the time. The food is always delicious and the staff is excellent, super friendly and helpful. If you were deciding whether or not to come here, definitely give it a try. You wont be disappointed!

Overall a very good dining experience. Liked the innovation with food items in the menu. Enjoyed the taste of most of the items we ordered (except soup of the day). The ambiance was simple yet good, music from Bose speakers was enjoyable. Liked the infused drinking water. Prices are a bit on higher side - esp. Veggie burger for $18. Some pricing optimizations might bring more repeat customers. Overall great place, keep it up! Looking forward to next visit!

I went expecting a good Veggie Burger among other things....but the veggie burger was not to my liking at all (I enjoy a great veggie burger by the way). However the Timbale appetizer was AWESOME...if you go GET THAT to start,no dissapointments there. It was an experience. And there were two waitresses one was....mmmm I interesting I will say, because Im trying to be a nicer person in life. The chef seemed very nice though,so he probably saved it on that note

Service is really good (the folks are very polite, patient and helpful). Food is also pretty good, which is saying something coming from an omnivore like me. I had the Reuben, which was delicious! And some of a hot dog, which was ok to decent. Oh, and the coconut peanut butter chocolate dessert was awesome!! Its definitely on the pricey side though. Plus, while things are pretty good, I havent had an amazing entree that would keep me coming back.

Prices are outrageous but totally worth it. Best food in New Brunswick, owned by two brothers from Brooklyn, staff are polite, friendly, and openly share knowledge, and answer questions about food/drinks/vegan life. My office fridge is full of their food and kombucha. Im set for a week. Thumbs down that day to Eat24 online delivery service though. Super late and non responsive to the restaurant. All and all

The food looked very appealing. The prices are expected for specialized cuisine but it really wasnt worth it. The food was tasteless. I ordered an appetizer with guacamole. It took a very long time and arrived cold. It lacked salt and had no flavors other than that of crushed avocado, beans straight from a can, and under seasoned bits of sweet potato. You are better off cooking at home.

Pretty good, casual vegan restaurant. Came here with a friend on a late Monday night. We ordered the Quinoa Salad ($12) and the RAWsagna ($16) . The salad was pretty much what youd expect from a Quinoa Salad with the exception of some avocado and beets (yum...). The Rawsagna was mushrooms, tomatoes, and "nut cheese" nestled between some zucchini slices (instead of pasta). Surprisingly tasty.

Full fledged vegan, organic, and non-GMO. Awesome food (try the lentil and mushroom burger!), and while the view isnt great, the ambience of upstairs is great, and wonderful and nice people who honestly care about the food they are feeding you. Were new vegans and were ecstatic to find this place, and will be back - many times - we especially want to try a weekend when they have specials!
