Definitely would not recommend this restaurant if youre looking for a local place while traveling through. They gave me the bigger of the two sizes in the appetizer I ordered without even asking me so I payed for extra food I didnt want. But that was nothing. My friend ordered a 14 oz steak and it was extremely over-charred, so the tall blond waitress took my friends entire plate- she still had a whole bowl of broccoli and ~2 oz of fries- and said shed get the manager. Instead, she brought the checks out without asking if we wanted it split and said she comped off the deserts- one of which was mine. So my friend was told she would have to pay almost 50 dollars minus a 3 dollar desert for food that was taken away from her. She wasnt offered a new steak. We finally get the manager to clear it up and turns out the waitress said my friend ate most of the 14 oz steak, which even if it was delicious she couldnt have eaten half of it, and then said she didnt like it. She didnt come to our table again after that. And we had to stop her almost every time we needed something. Maybe our experience wouldve been better if we had had a different waitress. The food itself was pretty tasty; just beware of rude servers.

Our office regularly heads here for lunches. They accommodate our large parties and pre-ordering exceptionally. The food is excellent. The sandwiches and burgers are awesome (definitely splurge for the waffle fries!) Im not an expert in Irish food, but my experience with the bangers and mash wasnt as good as their regular menu items. The atmosphere is generally a little loud with lots of TVs, sports games, and happy customers. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that one St. Pattys Day when they were out of Guinness and they will never live it down.

I love the food here (used to go for the hobo burger, but my go to has been the french dip, lately). They have a trivia night once a week that a lot of the college students seem to go nuts over, too, so its a fun place to be (Im not sure if its year round or not, though). Nice beer selection, and friendly managers. In the warmer months, the outdoor seating is also pretty nice. If you like the Allendale Bar and Grill, youll like this place as well (same family/menu, I believe).

I have been to the MB&G many times usually ordering a burger or one of the pasta specials which have always been great. On my last visit I ordered one of there fish specials and I was thoroughly impressed. I ordered the red snapper and my friend ordered the salmon, we split them both. The fish was fresh and both dishes had an incredible taste!! I recommend one of there fish specials to anyone.

Outstanding food at a reasonable price! Some of the best wings I have had in a long time. Super meaty and served with a large size bowl of blue cheese. Ordered a side salad that was huge! Great beer selection. Very impressed with the food and a great setting. Been there once and already a fan favorite of the place. May have stumbled upon a gem. Will be on my list of places to return.

Great! Vinnie is a great waiter; make sure you ask for him! The French-Onion soup is very tasty. Not at all salty ( which ruins it). I has a burger with bacon, cheddar cheese, and fried-onion crisps. The burger was cooked perfectly, medium well. The bacon was freshly cooked, hot and crispy. The onion crisps tasted fresh and not from a can. I recommend Mahesh Bar & Grill.

First time there and we had a Rude neglectful waitress. Not only was being the only "people of color " in there make me feel uncomfortable, but the neglectful, barely at the table ass attitude did not help. Had to speak to the manager who had to take our plates and give us the bill since our server never came back.

Our waiter, mike, is an exceptional gem and the food was all magnificent. We started with their famous buffalo wings and took it from there. Sea salt caramel chesecake? Never even heard of it until tonight and it is now a favorite I didnt need to know about!!!!!!!

This was my first time at the Mahwah Bar & Grill and I must say, I was extremely impressed. The wings were absolutely delicious, crunchy with just enough spice. We went on a Wednesday so it was trivia night and it was so much fun. Will definitely go back again!

Long time family owned local institution serves up decent, and do I dare say occasionally creative food at fair prices. Oudoor enclosed patio seating is a relaxing pleasure. Service can be variable but typically satisfactory. Full service bar on campus.

I come here a lot and eat in the bar area. The wings and burgers are very tasty. The beer is decently priced. Everyone is friendly there. They have a cool Golden Tee Golf, but the jukebox is always off, I do not know why.

My wife and I brought my father for Fathers day. Dad and I had the Godfather sandwiches, and my wife had the fish and chips. Food was great and the service was excellent. I would recommend MBG to anyone, always !!!
