Went in about 10 to grab a cup of coffee and some pastries. I thought it was weird that there really was not many pastries out early in the morning. I figured maybe they kept things safely stored in the back and dont put out all the food. I ordered an apple strudel and and almond cake thing. I am not sure of the name but it is a pastry and is made of almond flour and almonds dusted with confectioners sugar. I did notice that the decor was dated and there were five old men in their 80s eating. Anyways, i took it all to go and i was driving i grabbed the almond pastry and took a bite. I noticed immediately that it tasted off so i spit it out. I grabbed the pastry and flipped it over and noticed mold!!! I was so disgusted. I turned around and drove back. I walked in ( men were no longer there but gathered in the parking lot) and walked up to the counter. There was the lady behind the counter who helped me, a cook standing in the doorway near the counter and a bus boy. I placed my pastry box on the counter and said, Im giving this back to you. I dont want anything else, i dont want my money back. The woman says, why? Whats the matter? I replied, flip the almond pastry over she dis and i said do you see the mold? That is disgusting. I cant believe you served that. Just keep it. I think you need to clean your case out. She apologized and the whole thing that was more appalling. She didnt seem surprised. When i left i asked the men still congregating outside if they had problems with the pastries. The old man stated that on occasion he did but he kept coming back with the other men to talk politics and drink coffee. He also stated that the place doesnt get as much business as it used to so he wasnt surprised i had a moldy pastry. He said hes noticed that they have tried to stretch a buck. I will never eat here again and i really encourage anyone who thinks about it to think again.

Terrible service. I cannot even tell you what their food is like. We walked in and werent acknowledged. I had to ask if we can sit ourselves and if I can grab a menu. We sat there with a closed menu on the table for almost 10 minutes. NOBODY even came to our table to ask if we would like coffee or something to drink. They didnt even look at us. In fact, the waitress was windexing the bakery case. Oh and there was not a single customer in the place!!!!!!!!!! After 7 or 8 minutes of being ignored, my husband and I walked out. So we found a place in Ramsey called Ramsey Corner Cafe. Excellent service!!! Great prices and great food!!! Dont bother with the overpriced Bon Appetit. TRUST ME!!!

Had a bridal shower there and for 36 dollars a person we only had two types of tea, three types of mini sandwiches, and a slice of a quiche thing, one type of scone, and a mini tart for dessert. They really dont offer anyone water and we were scolded for not knowing you had to take the empty tea pot off the heat or it will crack. They dont do the cake and it would most likely cost extra if they did even though they are a bakery as well. Everything was just okay so save your money and go somewhere worth it not something you can do yourself. There was no wow factor for my money.

Great food! At first a little chaotic until you understand their system. Basically table service is limited, you order at the counter. Once you understand this you will be amazed at their food. Favorites are the Eggs Benedict and Ham Quiche. Their pastries are the best and dont forget to try their new CroNuts! Also the Tea house is amazing, stop in and ask to see it.

Great food. Abominable service. One waitress. Always asks as if she is rushed and refuses to acknowledge you. She acts as if it is YOUR job to serve her. Doesnt even offer menus or water until you request her attention ten times.
