Shirin Cafe is a gem for delicious and reasonably priced Caucasian/Slavic cuisine. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. The menu has a great selection of Armenian/Uzbek/Russian/Ukranian classics and everything is made the same every time, very delicious with no surprises. My wife and I have been visiting here for years, and we become very excited for every visit. My favorite is the Uzbek Plov. I recommend making reservations in advance no matter what size party because the cafe is small, and often filled with large parties. Also BYOB for the vodka, cognac, and wine drinkers.

Restaurant is great. Svetlana is excellent. Very friendly atmosphere. Salads are amazing but lamb shish kebab is not the best. The Meat is very tender but Мясо отдает бараниной. it does not taste as good as real shish kebob or kebab in the few popular Brooklyns restaurants. The leaver kebab is not the best either. Please Include smaller kebob sticks in the menu. Those huge pieces are not for everyone to handle. Leave this as an option for the customers. Please improve. We need you in Manalapan !!! Sorry 3 stars for now for the delicious salads, brad, lagman and etc...

Im not familiar with russian food and didnt know what to expect when i visited this restaurant but i was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. i ordered lamb shish kebab and dumplings and they were outstanding. my wife is a vegetarian and they had plenty of great options for her, as well. I went on a wednesday and there werent too many customers there, but the service was great and the prices are reasonable too.

The Shirin Café offers a fantastic dining experience. The welcoming atmosphere, the friendly owners and the delicious food ensure that you will want to keep coming back. My personal favorite menu items include: the Uzbek bread, kutabi, the Rendezvous salad, the home-style potatoes and the mouth-watering Lyulya. I always look forward to my next visit to the café.

Shirin is a hidden diners treasure in Manalapan. Every dish shows the skill and love of the cook producing it for our pleasure. The majority of the dishes are fresh made when ordered. So, bring you favorite wine, beer or other beverage, the place is BYOB, and take some time to enjoy the food here. We left very happy, and look forward to future visits.

Place is small and family run. The owner makes you feel warm and welcome. This was our first time trying out Uzbek and Russian food. The Quail and Lamb chops Shish Kebab were delicious. Uzbek bread was very good too. Since everything is made fresh on order, be prepared to wait a bit (30 - 40 mins) while your food is made.

Perfect place to have a small dinner with a family, celebrate with a large group of friends or just come in for lunch in the middle of the day. We enjoyed every dish, from appetizers to deserts. Everyone who works there is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Will go back again and again. Thank you.

Wow! Excellent place, wonderful menu, authentic, mouth watering cuisine, extremely accommodating staff. Shirin is where I take my family when they visit. I have not found such excellence out of NYC. My 1st choice when dining in South Jersey. 6 stars!
