Quite possibly the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I called the restaurant 5 days prior to make a reservation. When I arrived, I gave them my name and they said they had never heard of me. After showing the waiter my phone, with the phone call, he was unable and unwilling to offer any help as to why this had happened. I get it, mistakes happen, but the staff was completely unapologetic and did not make any effort to rectify the situation. The only offered I got was that we could eat dinner, but we had to be finished in one hour because the table was reserved. We said no and walked out. Needless to say, I, nor anyone in my party will return. I gave the food a rating of "good" because I could not submit this review without filling out all the fields. I am sure the food is great, but I never got to try any of it.

I stopped in Bosphorus passing through Parsippany on a Saturday. I walked in and was the only person there and the manager (I think) was training a new waitress. I ordered the Shish Kebab dish and was offered fresh Hummus while I waited. (not complimentary). However, the hummus was probably the best I have ever had. (so good, I ordered another to go after eating.) The decor is inviting, clean albeit for smaller groups. My dish came out promptly, a colorful plate of , rice & salad. Everything was absolutely delicious. And like the hummus, I ordered an additional take home plate since where I live there are not a lot of Mediterranean restaurants. Definitely recommended if you are in the area

Delicious appetizers, well-cooked rice and meat dishes. Try the mixed appetizer for a a bit of everything. Welcoming, cozy decor and very friendly staff. Not cheap, but not too expensive. Good portions. Only knocks I have on them is 1- Cramped space 2- Waiters "hovered" over our table and asked too many times if we needed anything. That actually is a good thing in most cases, because it shows they are attentive to our needs, but I prefer to be left alone and Ill ask if I need anything. So, that could be interpreted as a good thing. Overall, great place to eat!

The servers were attentive and friendly. I know fresh hummus when I taste it, I work at a restaurant that makes their own. I could say that this place has some of the best hummus Ive ever had. The meals were a good portion and the chicken and adana combo I had was really good. It came with a side of spicy red cabbage and the meat was on a bed of brown rice. If you are full and do not want dessert after eating try the Turkish coffee! It is very good. Great place and small cozy ambiance too. Try it!

Small place, but such high quality food. The humus is very fresh (made from scratch) and the food overall is fresh. I ordered the Lamb chops and they were delicious. Usually I order my meats well done and have to send them back at restaurants, but the chef here cooked it perfectly. Dont judge by size, judge by the superior quality of food

Quite possibly one of the best meals Ive ever had. Everything was freshly made so the wait was a while, but so worth it. We had appetizers, salad, kabobs, and finished with baklava and turkish coffee. I look forward to going back

Simply the best Turkish food and service of any place we have been for the last ten years. Last visit, my wife and I shared a shephard salad, humus, babahanus and a lamp shish. Everything was perfect. Its BYOB.

Went there for lunch. Food was pretty good. Its Turkish, but dont let that scare you. The sheppards salad is chopped salad, and the kabobs are pretty good too.
