Very sorry to write this because the wait staff were very nice and prompt, but the dough to this pizza is so dry itll give you cottonmouth worse than smoking a sandwich bag. The cheese and sauce are actually very good, but the doughs fluffed like Santas beard and has tasteless bubble crust. I literally needed a toilet with handle bars like I was a NASA astronaut ready for lift-off at Cape Canaveral after eating this pie. Pizza is not meant to be healthy, so I dont know why this gourmet "health" pizza is becoming such a big thing. If youre into yuppie pizza, you may like this place. If you want an old school Jersey pizza, tomato pies are a little further south towards Trenton or north towards Elizabeth.

Wish I would have reconsidered dining at Nomads. Our party of four arrived at 5, and all tables were full shortly after. It was very loud and we could hardly carry on a conversation for all the kitchen and dining room noise. I orderd the caesar salad (sent back because of the intense, fishy dressing) and the shitake mushroom pie (not even extra sauce and chili flakes could help the flavor). To top off the sub-par meal, the complimentary chocolates served with the check tasted more like candle wax with a cocoa aftertaste. The wait staff was very friendly, and gladly took the salad off the bill. My friends and I definitely wont be back!

Best pizza around bar none! Amazing flavor, amazing crust, and its hard to choose as everything looks so good. The price for the quality of food (which is the best) is very reasonable. BYOB is great as well. Not sure what the parking complaints are about, but its not hard to find a spot... although you may need to walk 1 measly block if coming on the weekend. Its not loud, but then again, dont expect fine dining. This is big room with people talking and enjoying themselves... its a small social place. Only negative is the wait. Expect 30+ minutes unless you pick a slow night.

TL;DR - best pizza in the area! Nomads has incredible outdoor seating, and a cozy inside space. The staff are WONDERFUL. It is BYOB and theres a liquor store just around the corner. They are very flexible on making changes to the pizza so feel free to change it up if you need to. Their Tartufo pizza is my favorite, with red sauce. Their goats cheese arugula salad is also incredible. You cannot go wrong no matter what you choose. They are cash only and there is usually a wait if you go on a weekend so be prepared!

Spicy Sausage pizza was ok. I wouldnt order it again. The filleti pizza was good but it was missing something. I wanted to give the place another chance but when I was ready to pay the overly priced check, I was told (after we ate) they only take cash or a check. I never carry more than $20 cash with me. Its 2016 time to accept debit cards or something. Both pizzas were burnt black on the bottom and the top and crust was very doughy. They dont serve anything with chicken? Why? I wont be back

I had high expectations on tasting something great and different. Well I was disappointed. My wife and I had two margarita pizzas. Ill give them that the ingredients tasted fresh but there was nothing special in the pies. They were small, has little sauce and were $13 each. We didnt feel like we were eating pizza. Rather it was like eating a flat bread Borito with a Tiny bit of sauce and some cheese. Nice place but not worth the price and all the hype.

Been wanting to try this place for a long time and found myself in the area, so I called ahead for a margherita pizza for pickup and I was not disappointed when I got home! The sauce was flavorful, the fresh basil had a great aroma to it, and the crust was delicious and perfectly cooked. Only wished there was a little more of the fresh basil on it but Im not taking a star away for something that trivial. Looking forward to going back again sometime!

Great "fancy" pizza. Locally sourced ingredients and super cozy atmosphere are really what makes the place. Can be a little cramped inside on rainy or cold days, but when its nice out they open all the sliding glass doors and thats really when the place is at its best. Good place for dates. BYO saves you $. No reservations so you can always just drop by on short notice to see if a table is available. Only takes cash.

Nomad Pizza is in a beautiful location right in town. The grounds are very nice with lots of attractive outdoor seating. The pizza tastes ok and there are interesting choices for toppings. But despite those positives, I wont be coming back. Both servers I interacted with were rude and had a disaffected attitude. I wouldnt mind the high prices so much, but not with that kind of service. Its really a shame.

Fantastic thin-crust pizza! I didnt realize that Nomad even had a restaurant until a friend mentioned it to me. Its always been around, but has gets its name from being a traveling brick oven pizza shop in the back of a 1950s pickup truck. They dont make much, but what they make, they make perfectly. That being said, this place is not for the hipster-phobic. And keep in mind that its CASH ONLY.

Delicious! The pizza was fresh and wasnt heavy and greasy like pizza can be. The spicy sausage was the best, Nutella pizza was a great ending. Looking forward to returning to try the egg, truffle oil and mushroom pizza as well as the Gorgonzola & pear. Cash only and bring a jacket in case you get sat outside - no heat lamps! Get there early or go there late, as seating is pretty limited.

The pizzas are to die for. Just remember 1. They dont take credit cards 2. They dont take reservations 3. Establishment has a BYOB policy 4. Street parking is a hit or miss 5. Expect to wait -- on weekends, I have had people wait for over 90 minutes, so bring along something to munch on while you wait for your table. Service needs a little bit of improvement.

They do not accepy debit/credit cards. Aside from that, the place is beautiful, the outside seating is lovely and the puzza, although slightly expensive for its size, is ridiculously delicious and savory! Pribably the bestvpizza i have ever had a d i have had many, many styles of pizza from many different stores across the U.S.

The food is great (though pricey) but they designed this place to sound like the middle of a train station. Kitchen is in the middle of the dining room, no drapes, no carpet, no tablecloths, bad music playing -- you can barely have a conversation. I left with a pounding headache.

You know a restaurant is good when you feel compelled to write a review. Everything about nomad, every last detail is perfection. Not to even mention their pizza is the best Ive ever had. Definitely my favorite place for pizza and I definitely recommend.

Really cosy pizza place! All very fresh ingredients, great service and extremely tasty! There were no tables to begin with so we were shown to a seperate room with foosball to keep us entertained!
