Quiet and centrally located on the main strip of Hillside. Inside is a very warm atmosphere, followed by a soft spoken waiter and rotisseur. Very attentive and very polite. You can come here for lunch with friends or just simply bring a date, for an experience you wont soon forget. This is a very quaint BYOB. They have a delicious salad bar with many delicious salads, pastas, and meats for you to choose from before ordering any one of the Brazilian Rodizio specialties as a main course. I personally ordered the picanha (Filet Steak), one of the most delicious Brazilian dishes asked for by many. I highly recommend it as a main dish followed by their white rice, topped with black or brown beans, added by their specialty "FAROFA" topped with their specialty "VINAIGRETTE". I also had some of their homemade hot sauce, and I have to admit that it was amazingly delicious. Followed by an espresso and a desert. The espresso was perfectly done, from the texture to the froth and even the temperature. This place really stands out as a diners delight. I hope that you will try this experience as I did. I very highly recommend "The Taste of Brazil" to everyone who enjoys good food and a comfortable atmosphere. Ill be back very soon, I hope to see you there too.

Delicious and affordable small rodizio-style restaurant in downtown Hillside, NJ. When you first walk in, youll notice the salad bar on your left and the meats straight ahead. With a price point of $15 for all you can eat, cant go wrong. The salad bar was a little lacking, but the meats satisfied. When I go, I stacked my plate with picanha (top Brazilian sirloin), pork ribs, chicken in garlic, chicken wings, and pork sausage. Taste of Brazil is an excellent and affordable option for steak as well as those whom are familiar with rodizio-style meats.

I got tired of always driving to Newark for good Rodizio and decided to give this place a try. Excellent food! Meats prepared the way they should be, salads were fresh, rice and beans restocked as we ate. Clean, friendly environment with ample seating. Staff was super friendly and kept checking on us. Price is awesome too. All you could eat, with a drink and double espresso for about $20/person. Casual setting so its prefect for the last minute lunch run or dinner stop. Will definitely be back again. Thank you for a great experience!

After my visit to Brazil it was hard to find a good restaurant that provides food and atmosphere as authentic as this. This was recommended by my Brazilian friends after I complained about a few bigger restaurants in Newark which have been steadily falling off with the quality of their food. Staff, atmosphere and food was exactly what I was looking for.

My boyfriend and I had a date afternoon at this cozy spot. It is an all you can eat restaurant and you will definitely want to eat a lot! The food and salad bar were delicious. The meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The waitstaff was so attentive and understanding. Im glad I discovered this hidden gem and I will definitely be back!

OMG SO GOOD! Found on Groupon for Mothers Day dinner and was not a disappointment. Service was great and friendly, food was a great friendly variety. Fresh meats I mean that literally melt in your mouth such great meats you wish you had more room for more when you literally cant eat anymore! Lol they have to go options as well.

I came here like 3 weeks ago to try it out. Its about 30 to 40 minutes from my house with traffic but it was worth the drive. Service was great- food was amazing!!! I was a little unsure when i first walked in but... here I am again today celebrating my husband bday!! Highly recommended you try it.

We having been coming to the one in the Ironbound for a couple years. Now they have one in Hillside. We are happy that we have two to choose from to go eat at our favorite place. My kids love it! Well worth it! Everyone is always so friendly too!

I dont know where to begin. I went to this restaurant last night with my boyfriend and we enjoyed the dinner. The place was a very cozy Restaurant. This is not your typical commercial Rodizio restaurant, the meat has flavor!

I usually get take out. The take out has a salad bar, cold dishes like olives and cheese or potato salad, then hot dishes like rice, beans, chicken, Brazilian dishes. They also have dessert!
