I read a favorable article about this place when it opened eight months ago. I have driven past countless times but never made a point to stop until today. Im glad I did. Started safe with their BBQ chicken sandwich and an order of herbed potato slices. It was fantastic, I was also offered a sampling of the barbacoa, chili and a crab bisque. Every single sample was great, even the bisque and Im not much of a seafood fan. I will definitely return. Although the place has a "fast food" type of feel to it, the menu is anything but. If you are looking for something above the norm, you gotta stop by. Lunch of dinner, its well worth the stop.

great local place where you will get fast and friendly service. guilt free, freshly made food with lots of weekly specials like shrimp tacos, healthy quinoia salads, and too many other delicious meals to mention. Ive been going here since they opened and they still manage to put out a high quality and fresh product every time and Im a very picky eater. I love that they have lots of healthy options and keep a nice, well trained staff. thank you tender lovin grill for providing a healthy, fresh alternative to fast food in Hillsborough.

Great little place with a perfect mix of comfort food and healthy options. The decor is sparse, but the dishes are interesting bits of Americana, delicious and satisfying. Just dont be like that one guy and order the most boring, unadventurous things on the menu and then complain about it! Go for the fun item that youre curious about. My favorite gem: RC cola, 7UP and Bosco chocolate soda on tap! I never see these anywhere.

Quaint, limited seats, service ranges professional to enthusiastic... & the food (good lord the food) is seriously delicious with much variety. Been on a multi-month weightloss thing, and my mouth always waters when I think of this place. Prepared fresh & priced fair.

Great little lunch spot. First time visiting and will not be my last. Very fresh and delicious food. Chicken fajita salad was so yummy. Nice menu with something for everyone. Courteous and professional staff. My new go to.

You havent had chicken pot pie until youve had TLG chicken pot pie!!! And everything else is amazing as well from the wings to the milkshakes and you can never go wrong with the specials!!! Always fresh and always flavorful!!!

I ordered the chicken tenders and cole slaw. Neither of the two had ANY flavor whatsoever. There are way better places in town to get fried chicken from. Dont waste your time/money here.
