I dont know about a few years ago, but I went to China House Plus a few times in early 2011, and heres what I think needs to be worked on: 1.) Pork Fried Rice: Its oily and sticky. I ordered it on a Sunday, and the rice tasted horrible and had a funny smell. Dont know if its the oil or rice they used from the day before, but it was just nasty that I had to throw 75% of it away. 2.) Delivery Guy: It was a young delivery guy who, when asked how much it was, said it was $17 when, in fact, it was $16.05. Why cant they just tell me the exact amount instead of rounding it off to the next dollar? 3.) Eat-In v.s. Take-Out: They tend to give you less when you eat-in, whereas its more when you take-out. I never understood why this is, but youd notice the big difference. If you want to eat-in, might as well order to take out but eat in and still get your moneys worth. I live in Garfield and have tried different Chinese restaurants in or around the area. I have tried Cheung Guy on Lanza Ave, Blue Sky on Jewell St, China Cook on Blvd (Elmwood Park), China House on Lexington Ave (Clifton), etc. If you want the best Chinese food at reasonable prices, my suggestion is China House on Lexington Ave in Clifton. And, yes, they deliver to a Garfield address. And, if you want to eat in and dont mind paying a few extra bucks for the best Chinese food around, my suggestion is Jaimitos Restaurant on Lexington Ave, Clifton, just across China House.

love this place every time i place a order within 20 minutes they are at the door of my house with nice still hot food. I hate when you order from somewhere it takes a hour plus and the food is cold. Their food here is very reasonable priced and their customer service and delivery time is amazing. the delivery guy always remembers you even after only 1 time ordering and always greets us with a smile and asks us how you been. Have tried many many other Chinese places around garfield and now this is the only one i order from so defiantly try these guys out!

The delivery is kinda long since I live less than 3 minutes away but the food is worth the wait! Chinese=Awesome, Mexican=You have to try the burritos, they are huge and delicious, Italian= I love the platters, Chicken Fran-chaise with penne (I asked for melted mozz on top) was surprisingly good! The only thing I have not really like was the crab Rangoon and nachos because they get soggy upon the long delivery time.Overall I totally recommend with their huge portions and low prices.Plus they have online ordering!

This place has the worst service I have ever seen! I placed an order for delivery. Did not get what I ordered, the lady on the phone was nasty, I have ordered a dinner special and came with no soup or soda. I requested to her she told me it was sent to me already.. oh well so I could not have the soup, plus I had to hear how I bothered her ordering from this restaurant. I would not recommend it, plus food was much more greasy than other places not good at all!

First time I order from here & I believe in first impressions ...I have tried lots of Chinese spots near Lodi and none have impressed me...this place did...when I called to place my order, the person on the other end was nice and the delivery was very prompt...also the delivery guy was very nice ...food was also delicious and they are not stingy with their sauces ... I remember my mom always ordering from this place whenever we wanted to have a lazy dinner. Its been years since I lived near this spot and they never cease to amaze me every time I stop by for a bite. Great food for the 10+ years that Ive been eating from them. Good prices, reasonable portions, fresh food, and very polite employees. Always my #1 choice!

Great Restaurant. Theres a couple really close by but they use cheaper chicken and meats. This place has killer Sesame chicken. They sell pizza which is hilarious considering there are some of the best pizzerias in the state in the same area, but whatever. Good food, better than the others in garfield/passaic that Ive tried.

No comparison to anything nearby in the area... This place is a winner. Excellent food, great taste, good prices.. Not too greasy and fresh stuff... Various items in the menu not offered in your average Chinese food place. People come from other towns to get food here, that should say something.

This is the best Chinese food anywhere. I love it. Live on the block and have been going there for 4+ years. My friends drive in from other town to get food there. Vivienne is the lady in the front and she seems mean but shes really nice. She just talks fast and loud lol. You wont be sorry.

This is the only Chinese place that my whole family trusts. Lately with the food that Chinese restaurants have been servin is disgusting. Its came out on the news of Chinese restaurants serving dogs as chicken wings. This place I can trust. They are very clean people who go by the book!

I ordered the chicken wings with pork fried rice just looking at the chicken was disappointing it was old and refried and it tasted exactly how it looked. I must say I have been going here for 14 years and the quality has drop tremendously.

The food was extremely greasy. Ordered the boneless bbq ribs have of the container was oil, it was so salty that the only thing you tasted was salt. The lo mein was nothing to be desired. Threw it away after a couple bites.

This Chinese take out place is the most generous of any one I have dealt with. The quality of the food is excellent and the personnel are always very pleasant. They make the best fried calamari that I ever had.
