Its the first and last time my wife and I will come here. From the moment we walked in to leaving the experience was horrible. My wife was given an attitude by the waitress for asking to see a menu before being seated. Which also took three times of asking before she understood. We get seated, and then more attitude was given by the waitress and then it took another 3 times to understand all I wanted to drink was a coke. Moments later we order two veggie burgers which she kept thinking we both wanted two. I simply explained one for me and one for my wife. Again this took multiple times to explain. Thinking she understood we were given one burger and then I confronted her about it and she kept saying we only ordered one.....so for all this and giving my wife a constant attitude I stood up and questioned her intelligence. Which finally she understood something on the first try! So we walked out. Again, first and last time we will ever come.

Never got to eat in this place, but got lunch and dinner delivered from them all the time because of my crazy work shifts. I LOVE how big their portions are! Some of their items would seem a bit pricier, but whatever I ordered would always come in a portion size worthy of the price. Enough to satisfy me for my entire shift and usually have some leftovers. I only cant give it 5 stars because it can take an hour or sometimes more to get to you, but the delivery was free and they drive pretty far. Unfortunately, they always seem to forget something, whether it be a drink or onion rings. But they have been very friendly and accommodating with any issues. The food itself I would rate 4 stars also. Sometimes there is the occasional food that can tend to be a bit cold or chewy by the time it arrives, but for the most part its really great food coming from a diner-type place. If you want your moneys worth of decent food, get from chillers!

This place is OK. However, the customer service clerk who takes orders on the phone seems empty-headed and lacks attentiveness. I had to call back several times to find out the total of my order, check up on delivery estimate, etc. The only reason i ordered food from this place is because it is close to my house. Otherwise, it wouldnt be worth the hassle. UPDATE: I think this place is cozy to sit in, and it isnt too crowded. So thats good. However, most of the servers here dont speak great English, and arent as personable as youd hope diner servers to be. The food though, is high quality, and they even have organic coffee. And the music they play here is very pleasant.

Bring back the Red Oak. I always stop here when traveling to Connecticut but now Ill find another place. Ordered a cup of matzoh ball soup. The Matzoh ball was ok but the broth was so salty I couldnt eat it. My son ordered a calamari appetizer and it was all breading - terrible. His chocolate milkshake, while made with real ice cream, barely tasted like chocolate. Even I know to add chocolate syrup!!! My open face hot turkey sandwich was just fair. The french fries were ok but not as good as I remember from the Red Oak. Very disappointing. Doesnt the owner taste the food?

Exactly what it advertises itself as, comfort food bar and grill. I had the chicken cutlet w/ avocado, chiptole aioli, grilled jalapenos, cheddar, etc on a hero and everything was fresh. avocado was ripe and not mushy, sliced. Chicken had a nice crisp without being overbreaded. Bread was a nice asiago cheese topped hero. Is it 5 star michelin food, no. Its sandwiches, apps, burgers, etc. But for ordering lunch at the office theres def nothing better quality-wise within a 4 mile radius. Plus the place is really clean and hygienic which matters to me.

The food is okay. Nothing special out of the ordinary...cause its still a diner. People that say its outstanding probably have limited taste buds. Ive tried pretty much half the items on the menu. Some items came out too dry or too salty. I always go there for their everyday chicken noodle soup... its great on a rainy day.. and never a disappointment. I remember this diner before they reinvented themselves. The food has improved a little but the prices went up tremendously. Are we in NY?

Excellent, a real NJ diner with great ambience, generous portions, fresh delicious food and fast service. Places like this are a gem to have in any town. If youre tired of the soulless massive chains that have taken over our cities then this isnt exactly what youre craving. The Belgian waffles are glorious, omelets are fluffy, burgers are juicy and the fries are DIVINE. ------yey they deliver!

Always a great place to stop and get a good meal at a good price. Its nice to find a diner thats still a diner! From the eggs and breakfast to the dinners, weve always been pleased with our meal. Nick at the front greats you with a warm smile and a friendly greeting. The wait staff is attentive but not overbearing. We do love this diner as our go-to-place

I love this place, everyone here is very friendly. I order for delivery at home and Ive never had a problem. Most places in the area take 30-40min to deliver... I dont understand people that are impatient... if you dont want to wait go pick it up yourself or order with time! But enough about that ... the food here is great and the rice pudding is delicious :)

Waited an hour and a half for lunch delivery on a monday... when I called to check on my order the guy who answered was rude and short with me. When the food finally arrived it was cold and tasteless. I ended up throwing the whole order away. This was a waste of time and money, a complete terrible experience and I will NEVER order from this place again.

TERRIBLE SERVICE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!! The driver had an attitude and only brought us 1 of the 3 items. We called the restaurant and they told us he would come back. An hr later, we call again, we get hung up on. Call AGAIN, told he will be right there. STILL NO FOOD!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!! NOT EVEN WORTH A STAR!!!!
