This rating is only based on the customer service I received. However, the food is average at best. The red snapper was very salty. I mean very salty. I was actually travelling and I Googled jamaican restaurant and I found this. This will place had good reviews, so I thought I try it. After I finish my meal, i went and order a soda which was $1.07. I gave the gentleman a $1.12, which I expected $0.05. The guy was upset because I didnt want pennies back. He said if you dont want pennies back I dont want it either. After trying to explain to him why I wanted $0.05 back, he wanted to fight me. Wow. The girl there had to come him down. The this guy shouldnt be up front. It is bad for this business. I never been to this town, I was a pass byers. And I will never go there again if I ever pass through

I loveee the food here! The oxtails are delicious with those sweet plantains. The music is always nice , and the customer service is amazing , my husband and i come in regulary and we are always greeted by this very polite cashier , shes usually there through out the day even when customers are being rude or are giving her a hard time she remains very respectful . I really love this customer service , the other workers have been nice too but weve noticed a little attitude here and there but nothing to be upset about .compared to other jamaican restaurants near by , this is where we are the most welcomed . Keep up the good work! .. and food !

The food here is good, but the customer service is terrible! Today when I visited I was met by a rude male employee. I usually overlook the poor service, but this time I was charged $25 for half of the portion of food normally given. The employee haphazardly packed both of our dishes, causing the sauce to leak in to the bag. To make it worse; both of our plates came with 5 tiny pieces of chicken, and 3 of the pieces in each dish were all bone and fat. I essentially paid $25 for rice and 9 plantains. The food kept me coming here, despite the poor service. But after today, its safe to say I will not be returning here again.

Omg!!! This food is sooooo tasty. I wanted to take a picture of my plate and post it but I tried a piece of chicken and before I knew it I ate it all. I had a medium sweet and spicy chicken plate with rice and peas and cabbage. I ate it so fast that I regretted the fact that I didnt get a large. A lot of Americanized options on the menu. Cashier was nice and welcomed me to the restaurant after I told him it was my first time visiting there. I felt appreciated. Will definitely be back.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT JERK CHICKEN AND RICE & BEANS!! Ive served this to my family, buddies and co-workers, they loved it and want more. IMHO, the best tasting Jamaican jerk chicken, rice and beans you can get in the area. I have not tried any of the other dishes, but then again, once youve tasted this combo, its hard not to go for it again every time you visit The Lighthouse!

The atmosphere at The Lighthouse Jamaican Restaurant reminds me of being at home getting fed by my momma.I have sampled the everything on the menu and it just keeps me coming back. Love the vibes I get whenever I walk in the door always a smiling face to greet me. Check them out.

Great food!!! Had the cury goat and the goat was tasty and tender. The cook was personable and down to earth, and the staff were knowledgeable. Great food, great experience, and the prices are less then have of other places. I highly recommend this place.

Got the oxtails with some mac n cheese and cabbage. Cabbage could have been seasoned better, but thankfully the mac wasnt bland. The oxtails were amazing. Would give more stars if the place had better sides and more diverse and healthier drink options

If you are not buying Jamaican food here then you are wasting your money. Sometimes I dont quite make it home- I have to eat some in the car before driving off. They also have eat in. Love this place- they are so welcoming and Friendly.

Got food for myself and a few coworkers. I liked it, I had the oxtails. One had the curry chicken and she really liked it. However the other two thought it was too Americanized. I would definitely return. I loved the plantains.
