Many restaurants in this area are BYOB, so just in case we brought our own bottle of wine ($14). The waiter said nothing and just opened the bottle for us. The food was pricey, but it was fine ($22-$28 for a pasta although the pasta for $28 was overpriced). When the waiter brought the check there was a $35 (!) corking fee for the bottle we brought in, and nobody had warned us about it. When we pointed it out to the waiter, he said that he checked with the manager and that that is their policy (I guess their policy is NOT to warn the guests about an outrageous corking fee and then just charge it). The restaurant is entitled to their policy but they should inform the customers about it. Hence - my rating: penny-wise and pound-foolish.

Had dinner last night. Their signature fish was OVERPRICED. $49. Had no flavor and didnt come with anything. Glass of mediocre Cab and Pino Grigio was $16! Ridiculous. Pizza sauce was bitter and bread too doughy. Service was horrible. They didnt bring anything we asked for within a reasonable amount of time- water, bread, olive oil. Had to keep asking. Seating was cramped. Woman sitting next to us apologized for bumping into us was not her fault. Place still got 1 star because we didnt get sick and saw a couple of Tony Sapranos.

Upscale, popular, busy Italian/Continental with an active bar scene, and valet parking. Very good food, including fresh whole fish, pastas and steaks. Can feel a bit cramped if youre not in the back room, and can be noisy. A "see and be seen" atmosphere, where you might take a date to impress them. They valet park fancy cars in front. If you sit by the open kitchen, it can get a bit smoky. Service was attentive. Note: if you go early, its quieter.

I was one who went there the first week they opened, years ago! Otherwise, above average food and good service, coupled with high prices. The bar is way too small, and most of the dining room is like a hallway. It is definitely a see and be seen place, like the old "High Society" and "Sid Allens" was years ago. Indeed, the parking lot is good for checking out the latest luxury cars. If you have the right car and money to burn, this is the place to go.

Finally..a great Italian restaurant..with a REAL Italian chef. A wonderful versatile menu. Great salads, Classic shrimp cocktail (large shrimps) delicious pastas, Rack of Lamb was the best and veal chop pleasantly oversized and equally delicious. Was amazed by the upscale crowd. If you want to eat at the bar they suggest you get there early. May be a few bucks more than the average restaurant..but well worth it!

TERRIBLE! Staff behaves like theyre mobsters, the valet is even worse & to top it all the manager couldnt care less! Stay away if you have any sense, otherwise enjoy crappy food & service! In case you still venture there, best take a cab or car service, the valet behaves like Don Corleone from The Godfather! And funny thing is that no one cares, it was like a movie. STAY AWAY.

Not only is the food very good, but the parking lot on any given night looks like either an Exotic Car Dealership or a Luxury Dealership. Their patrons have $$$.
