We have been ordering from Hunan Wok for years. One month ago we received our food and there was a hair in the lo mein. We thought maybe it was my sons. We threw it out any way. We ordered last week and my daughter opened her container and there was a hair and she thought it was hers, but she threw out the food that had the hair on it. Then she found another hair and then another hair. Short black Asian hair. We all stopped eating and threw out the food. My daughter threw up. I called and asked to talk to Leo but he wasnt there. The woman on the phone said she was sorry and they would send another General Tsos to replace the one with hair in it. Ummmm, lets see.......NO bleeping WAY!! I know they dont use hair nets, so I suggested maybe they should. She said no. I WILL NEVER, NEVER, EVER, EVER eat here again. I am so disgusted and grossed out that I can not eat Chinese food now. I cant ever trust their food any more. I keep picturing little black hairs in the food and it makes me sick to my stomach. My kids dont want to order Chinese food anymore either. We are so happy cooking at home!

They have amazing food. I order from here all the time. Their dumplings are spectacular. I could eat those every day. They understand what you want and they can make pretty much anything you want. If you dont want veggies or sauce or meat in your meal they can take it out. Their cashiers are so patient and caring. The food is fast and all made in front of the customers. None of their food is heated up. All you have to do is walk in or call in. They have reasonable prices. They have a separate dieters menu and Thai menu. Ask if they have something they dont have on the menu. They have more food than whats on the menu.

They gave me wrong order. The manager or owner comes back to my house and asks me if I wanted to pick out the stuff I didnt order and would give me half price off.I say no I just want my money back he then gives me the money without tip back. I asked where is the rest of it the tip counts. He then replies this is america we tip delivery drivers. Does anyone else see whats wrong here. Bad business i say keep the tip use the 4 dollars to buy some pens and get ppls orders right.

I have eaten chinese food from every where, even from china. Yes the food isnt the same from over there but by far, this is the best Chinese food around. They have never screwed up my order and if they do, it may be an innocent mistake. I am good friends with the owner and he is friendly mostly to everyone. He is a good man and intends well for all his customers.

Best local Chinese place in Cranford. I know people think all Chinese food is the same, but I think any discerning eater can taste the difference between quality and crap. They use high quality ingredients, because the food has no after taste and is good every time. My favorite dishes are the Chicken Lo Mein and General Tsos Chicken. Definitely would recommend.

Terrible food - different every time, but the worst tasting "chicken" I ever had in that stuff. Ick! Dilapidated interior, looks like they do a lot of business and I liked the food the first time or two, but the next three times were all bad to worse...

I love the food....The egg rolls, ribs, general tsaos, especially the scallion pancakes....the lo-mein is delicious....the sesame noodle appetizer is the best I have ever had....The service is always friendly....Love to eat at Hunan Wok in Cranford....

One of the best Chinese restaurants Ive ever been to. Great unique menu with lots of stuff you dont usually get elsewhere. Fresh and fast food, pretty decent delivery as well. Its better to go pick it up but parking can be a headache.

Same as all the rest. Chicken was crispy in the general Tso meal. Staff had an attitude and they were arguing in Chinese with one another as I ate there. Should have eaten next door where it looks cleaner and roomier.

Do not order Shrimp from them they over charge you for like 8 pieces of shrimp they stuff the container full of lettuce!!! No other Chinese food restaurant does this its despicable. Never ordering from here again.

Decent Chinese food but it all tastes the same. And the pad Thai was digusting, not even okay. The taste wasnt anywhere near real pad thai. Ill give in to ordering from here but only when Im craving lo mein.

Really bad. Chicken was very chewy as if it were frozen and microwaved before delivery; sauce was so thick it was stringy and solid. Really poor food and not worth the money at all. Very disappointed.
