I have to say, it was the best trip Ive had to Cape May. The staff of both the Inn and the restaurant were so much more than just accommodating. Any question was met with an answer. Every person here had a smile and a nice thing to say. Everyone was so friendly and informative. The breakfast was beyond delicious. Coming in June meant we could eat outside and see the locals and visitors passing on the street. Such a relaxing way to begin the day. Staying for the weekend, we were able to enjoy the restaurant as well. It was the perfect amount of food. Everything we had was cooked to perfection. And the desserts! The lemon ricotta doughnuts are to die for! The homemade ice cream was the best combination of sweet and creamy. Compliments to the chef indeed!!!

Our first visit was spectacular, and we will certainly return. The atmosphere was both relaxing and elegant, and the staff was accommodating, friendly, and professional. Each of our party members enjoyed three courses, plus bread and a freshly-made lemon sorbet palate cleanser, and each was better than the last. A highlight was the mussels, made with Cape May Brewing Company beer, served already shucked. The teres major was a delight, and the desserts were excellent. We spent over two hours dining and relaxing, and we were never rushed. The chef accommodated our food allergies, and the server helped us celebrate a special birthday. In short, The Blue Rose is a gem.

This is fine dining at its best. Because all meals are prepared from scratch once ordered, plan at least 2 hours. Our food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented; a 5-star rating is definitely warranted. John our server was very knowledgeable about each dish and was a joy to speak with between courses. Patrick visited our table regularly; our water glasses were not empty long. He, too, was a pleasure. We look forward to returning so that we can, again, savor the taste of another of the chefs creations.

Made reservations on open table. They called to confirm and left voicemail. I called back to confirm I would be visiting and got their automated system, instructing me to push 3. Every time I did, it would hang up on me. I tried multiple times, to no avail. Called again, and then tried pushing 1, for the Inn. That just went to infinite silence. This type of experience tends to be a reflection of the business, so I canceled my reservations on Open Table. Fix your phone system.

We didnt stay at the inn but we did eat at the restaurant. This is without a doubt one of the best meals I have ever had. The ambiance was just right. Our server, John, was attentive and informative but didnt pester. The food was Amazing. I had the Teres Major (beef shoulder) it was so juicy and flavorful! My husband had the scallops and says they were "melt in your mouth, definitely the best Ive ever had". Do not miss this.

We ate at the Blue Rose Inn twice this week: once for Sunday brunch and once for dinner. Both visits were fantastic! I defy you to find a better brunch anywhere else in Cape May: amazing 3-courses; delicious coffee and juices; and very friendly and accommodating servers. We felt like we were treated to a gourmet experience at an unbelievable price! Dinner the next night was just as delicious. Great job! Will be back soon...

The Blue Rose is a must go to spot for anyone visiting Cape May. Food here is fresh, delicious and wait staff is always friendly. I highly recommend the duck confit ravioli to start, scallops as your main course and the donuts for dessert. Dont forget, this place is BYOB, so dont forget to bring a nice bottle of wine to dinner!

We had an incredible 3 course meal starting with duck confirm ravioli & mussels. Then steak major MR. And scallops. This is 5 star dining and service. Larissa is a wonderfultimate waitress. So accommodating to any request we had 100% recommend the inland restaurant!!

We were staying at the hotel and lucky enough to be able to have dinner there. Food was well-prepared. There evening special included and appetizer, main course and dessert for $29. Most of the offerings were also on their main menu. Would go back again.

Easter brunch was good. The first course dishes in particular were quite tasty (especially the rye gnocchi). The service was excellent -- our waiter Michael was on top of everything, which was impressive given our large party size. Id go back.

The food was amazing. I got the chicken and my fiancé got the scallops. The chicken was probably the most tender chicken Ive ever had. The scallops were cooked to perfection. Everything was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone.

All the food was surprisingly good. I love the fact that they make the food fresh and its all home made. I would recommend the duck ravioli for a first course and chicken for the second. A perfect meal to end my trip at cape may.

Everything is pretty great with the exception of the mattress (only ever used the one in the room I stayed in). Its like sleeping on a "taxidermied" bed. The real highlight here is the food. To notch.
