if you want to go to a restaurant with good service, do not go here!!! I went here for breakfast with a friend on September 30th, we ordered and after the waitress returns with the order we realized it was incorrect. We got her attention and she promised to fix the order. When she returned, the order was still incorrect,. At that point we decided to just eat the food and leave. I purchased a Danish from the counter rather than waiting to get it from the waitress. The person at the counter charged me at least twice the price of what it was worth. The only reason I know this is when we got the bill, the waitress charged me for it again, and the price she had on the bill was much less than the person at the counter charged me. I had her correct the bill, paid it and left. Rather than ask for a manager and get into it at that moment. I decided to leave and calm myself and during that time I decided to write this review. There was one thing I noticed that was different than the other restaurants in the area. Managers of other restaurants in the area generally roam the floor, touching base with the customers to see how youre doing. I did not see that happen while I was in the restaurant. if the manager had stopped by while I was in the restaurant, I probably would have been able to resolve my issues and not be writing this review. Customer service is a very important part of the dining experience and I was very unhappy with the service I received here.

Horrible food + horrible service = never coming back to this diner again. Weve tried this place quite a few times to support local eateries. However our experience today put the icing on the cake. First off, our waiter had such a stone cold face who didnt look happy that do her job. I get being a waitress is hard but no need to give customers an attitude. We had to ask her repeatedly for things and she got annoyed each time. I wont disclose her name for this review and being nice not to. But she didnt get a tip from me... Not for horrible service. The food: Im so annoyed I spent 40 plus dollars on less than mediocre food. The French toast was dry and the pancakes taste like they came out of the freezer. The owner greeted us with the same stone cold look as the waitress.. he must know his food sucks. You want great breakfast go to the Original Pancake House in West Caldwell or Mount Olive bagel. Id rather travel far for exceptional customer service and amazing breakfast food.

I miss Perkins. I live practically across the street, have given this place 3 chances, and each one was a strike. FIrst, could you please put some cream cheese on my bagel when I ask for it? It needs to be proportionate to the size of the bagel, NOT a thin, inconspicuous film. Second, could you please use fresh bread on my sandwich, not bread that I was physically unable to bite into. Third, coud you please leave the green tomatoes off my sandwich and remove them from your prep area and have a word with your distributor? What ridiculous food prep person would dare put GREEN tomato slices on a sandwich, I have no idea. High school kid prob, rather be texting. Dont waste your time or money here. Oh, I did enjoy the coffee and the turkey on my sandwich was good. Still, stay away.

Poor Customer Service. I am a Church Events coordinator so I placed a big order to serve to Dads donuts on Fathers Day. I didnt want to go to a chain bakery, I wanted Adams donuts. So, I placed the order with ample time, called the night before to verify my order and was assured that they would be done by 7:30am, my listed pick up time. I got to the Bakery at 7:25am and was charged for the 3 dozen donuts and was assured they would be out any minute. I was told every 5 minutes that it would "just be a few more minutes." Finally at 8am, after asking for the 10th time about my donuts and not getting a straight answer, I had them refund my card and we walked out without so much as an explanation or an apology! I will no longer be doing business with Adams Bakery.

was there a few weeks ago food was good but the service was not great we asked for icecream for my kids took forever i understand you are busy and our waitress went to help another table verses getting my kids icecream she did bring it finally after 20 minutes we wound up leaving and not paying for the icecream my kids were bummed we wound up going to wendys up the road for frosty instead. our waitress was nice in the beginning but had an attitude when we did not want the icecream this was our 2 or 3 time to the resturant. we were also there on 8/18/15 but left because my husband wanted the prime rib and it was not avail so we just got up and left and told the waiter that was cleaning tables sorry but we are leaving

Greeted by sad looking host/owner? Noticed the place was not vacumed, lot of clutter about; vases, fake plants. Bathroom not clean. The decor is confusing. Too many colors. Just looks old. Went with wife, and kid. I ordered a salmon burger. Fries were good, but salmon was like something from a can. Wife thought so too. Wifes grill cheese was ok. Hard to screw that up. Lol.Kid had wings that were ok. Service was good. Overall not impressed, and nothing that I could not make better at home even with frozen food. Lol. These ma/pa shops are hit or miss. Ill miss turning in there next time.

I have been here numerous of times and each time was a great experience. You can taste the freshness of the food. All the salads are always extra crispy and fresh. Their chicken parm is amazing! Everything about this restaurant is excellent. The portions are so big. You pay a decent price and get left overs, not too many places you can actually say that about. The owner is very friendly and always there greeting you. I would recommend this place to everyone!!

I am new to the area and have been going to the Budd Lake diner. I thought I would try Adams for a change. I ordered chicken parm to go. I called in my ordered and still had to wait. When I ate my chicken parm it was fatty and didnt taste like anything and I couldnt even eat the mashed potatoes.(disgusting) So,if you like poor food and poor service at high prices then this is the place for you. . I guess I will be sticking with the Budd Lake Diner for now.

The broiled scallops were overcooked and fishy tasting so I could not eat them. I told our waitress and she did not offer an apology or ask me if I wanted something else. My husband had the breaded scallops and they were dark brown and over cooked also. So we paid full price for both our meals which we could not eat. Perhaps they need to invest in a person who actually knows how to cook fish properly! Stay away.
