Went here for sushi and hibachi. Asked for tuna shashimi and the fish they gave us definitely was not tuna. We tried a piece each and it was the most disgusting fish, and told the waitress politely that we could not finish it. The waitress told us this would be taken off our menu. The manager then opproached our table telling us this tuna is the finest tuna and in stores its 10$ for a pound which is nothing for tuna so I dont really think she knew what she was talking about seeing as good tuna is a lot more money by the pound. She asked again if we wanted the tuna and we told her no thank you, and walked away with an attitude and clearly talking about us to the men working the sushi bar. We got our check and the tuna wasnt taken off so when we told the waitress she seemed confused, she went to go talk to the manager, and then came back and said because we ordered it we have to pay for it. Hibachi was decent, nothing special. Wait staff hardly checked on our table even tho there was 5 people eating in the restaurant. I wouldnt recommend this place: 1 because who knows what the hell theyre serving & I dont even think they know... 2 the way the manager treated us was horrible. Hope this helps

I dont know what to complain about first. The staff were unfriendly and slow. This place was NOT busy. The yum yum sauce was gag-worthy. The portions were small. The chicken was undercooked. The person next to me found LIVE cockroaches in their to-go box AND!!!!!! the restaurant still made them pay for the meal! Congrats Kyoto. You are the only place Ive ever given 1 star to. And you earned it!

If I could give this place zero stars I would! Ive probably been to 15 or 20 different hibachis and this is by far the worst one Ive ever been to. The wait staff was horrible and the yum yum sauce tasted like some one chewed up and swallowed every type of fish and regurgitated it in those little cups. In case that doesnt turn you away, someone found cockroaches in their to-go box. Unacceptable.

Good food, way too slow. My wife and I ordered food to take out multiple times from here and it is always delicious. Unfortunately the last 3 times our take out orders have taken more than an hour to be prepared each time.

Lately the portions have been much smaller, the staff has been short with customers and the atmosphere has appeared dirty and neglected. Last few visits food has been less than impressive.
