Its ok because they follow same formula tjat probably work for Indian restaurants in the US 10-15 years back. Doesnt have charm of udupi restaurants in India. Good Udupi restaurants on India are famous for their quality food and fast service Update 2/13/2015 I was extremely impressed by the food in couple of my recent visits especially South Indian dishes. Your response to my earlier review shows that you are open to constructive feedback. I also like the way you are conducting and advertising special events e.g. Pongal, upcoming valentines day/eve. My specific suggestion would be to ask your customers at least once during their visit if they need anything or everything is to their liking or not. We came for Pongal weekend lunch buffet and our server forgot to ask us for the dosas (probably because the restaurant was very busy). There were a lots of other specialty dishes that day on the buffet that we didnt ask our server either. Overall I liked my lunch experience.

Ive been to Indian restaurants all over New England and this is by far the best Indian food Ive ever had! Everything I ordered was perfectly cooked and spiced. The flavors were excellent. I was pleased to have so many vegan options to choose from, and that the vegan options were clearly identified on the menu so I didnt have to guess or ask. The only slight negative was that the rice tasted smoky, like some of it had burned at the bottom of the pan. I forgive that because I can tell the rice would have tasted great otherwise. I visited on a very busy Saturday afternoon, so the cooks may have been rushed and didnt notice. It wont stop me from visiting again, though. This was my first visit and will definitely not be my last. The staff was friendly and polite, the wait wasnt too long, and the prices were good. A must- visit for any fan of Indian food in the area.

So this is the experience of 07/06/16. I was having food and enjoying the food and the quality of food was literally so good that my group was ordering more and suddenly one of the employee came he dropped the spoon filled with sambar on me. I really got disappointed with the staff because the did not say sorry or something to apologize me. I hate those kind of people who do that. I want to every body dont go to the place where they have very bad staff. They dont give respect to the customers. We are paying for the food we are having and not having there for free. They should do some thing with the staff otherwise it will be problem for the restaurant.

I went here for the buffet a few weeks ago and had an overall great experience. The worker who was dealing with us was very kind, appreciative and informative if you asked what something was. However the term spicy Is subjective and their definition is quite different than mine. However I initially got too much sauce, which was over powering cause of the combination of spices. When eaten with the right amounts of each option it provides a pretty good experience. They also had a unique fruit salad desert which was pretty good. Overall the price wasnt bad for the options, though I wish they had a more mild sauce. Other than that the service was great.

We used to go to this place often after it opened. Then slowly the quality and hygiene went down. I finally stopped after I found a small insect in my dosa. Went there today after a long time. Things have not changed much in fact the service has gone down further. Had to wait 20 minutes for them to clean the tables. There were 4 empty tables and still it took that long. No one stopped at the table to ask if we needed anything a la carte ( it was a buffet but they serve drinks, tea coffee etc by request) . Even after we called someone over and ordered, we didnt get the order and finally gave up and left.

The food at Udupi was very good. They had an excellent choice of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. We had the standard palak paneer which was tasty and well spiced (but not spicy). We also has the Mirchi ka salan which is a dish made from long green peppers. This dish was excellent but the heat of the peppers was overwhelming and my taste buds went numb. The waiter and waitress were helpful and nice. Good dining experience in Nashua, NH.

This place is fantastic. I love all of the vegetarian options and each dish is absolutely delicious. The Gobi Manchurian is one of my favorite dishes--we get it every time! The best part though, by far, is the staff. They are always checking in to make sure your food is great, they make suggestions of what you may like, and they are friendly and efficient. The excellent food, paired with the customer service, makes this a great destination!

My family and I went to Udupi for the second time. The first time a few weeks back they had a buffet, which we really enjoyed. This time it was menu only, and since we are not vegetarians we were a bit hesitant. It is pretty easy trying different dishes in a buffet, but a bit of a task for us who were not familiar with the menu. I have to say, once again, outstanding. Loved it. I wish Udupi would advertise so the word could get out. MC.

I was looking for a vegan place to eat and this place popped up on google maps, since I love indian food, why not? I was pleased with the food, although I think they should have more variety, like some certain dishes with chick peas and potatoes and spinach, however what they had was delicious and the waiter was very friendly, I will go there again whenever I am in the area.

WORST! WORST! WORST! WORST! WORST! Hardly 4-5 items in buffet and $15.99 !!! Panipoori (lousiest I ever had), spinach pakoda, vada, dosa, tomato rice (full of garlic), tanduri veg - none left and replaced by lousy stir fry. One lousy sweet (payasam) Also went another day - some were stale tasting and hardest samosa, and dosa items were bad too. Never again !

Friendly staff and employees, quiet unhurried atmosphere, and a menu thats a heck of a lot more diverse and rewarding than you might think at first glance. Have been here quite a number of times and make a point of trying something new from the menu each time --and I have yet to be disappointed. Has become a favourite of my entire family.

I can only speak for vegan options: The food is good, its the best South Indian in the area right now. The food comes out pretty mild, even if I order spicy, but theres enough flavor to make up for it so I continue going back. Ive never had problems with service or sanitation like these other posts claim.

Worst ever buffet in my life. Had it on a Thursday night special. Costed me 15$ per plate had worth of 5$. None of the items tasted at least okay. All were below the expectations. Not even dessert at the last. Tandoori chicken was like raw marinated chicken. Never will again visit the restaurant.

The food we had here for lunch was alright. It tasted like it had been left out on the buffet table for a bit too long. Also, we ordered drinks, 3 mango lassis, right when we walked in the door. They never came... so we had to eventually cancel them, cause we had an appointment to get going to.
