Dos Amigos fills a void in downtown Dover, as hipsters DO love their burritos. Selection is normal. Service is great. The actual burrito is less than spectacular. I love burritos, and Ive had quite a few in my day, so maybe Im a harsh critic. Nonetheless, if a chain burrito-place like Chipotle, Qdoba, or Moes were ever to move in to Dover I would probably never go to "Dos" again. The tortilla is never as moist, or stretchy as I would like it. You end up paying double digits no matter what you buy and the hottest salsa they have isnt really that hot. Im not sure if they have queso but if I were to venture a guess I would say no. Which is too bad because queso is the shizznit.

Avoid at all costs. This is the single worst Dos Amigos anywhere around---and I say this as someone with a friend who works there. The recent remodeling changed nothing; management is terrible---customers are routinely ignored because apparently training the endless stream of new employees trumps acknowledging the people in line. Food is always wrong on ordinary orders. If you question anything (especially the always-indefinite wait, even when youre alone in the place) you will be scoffed at and made to feel guilty. The stories from locals about this place are numerous and of the same caliber: its terrible and we wish something decent would buyout the location.

Waited almost 40 mins for 2 burritos, chips & salsa...they forgot the salsa This was my 2nd visit to Dos Amigos and mostly likely my last. My spouse and I walked over to place a ToGo order and waited almost 40 minutes for 2 burritos and and order of chips and salsa. When we got home (only a couple blocks away) we opened the bag to find 2 cold burritos, chips and no salsa. Once we nuked the burritos they were edible, but nothing great and the chips sans salsa were stale as hell.

I love this place far too much to even be writing a fair review! It is that fantastic. I easily eat here once a week and am never disappointed! The burritos are fantastic and even as a vegetarian I dont get tired of the menu. Dos is definitely a must-try! You will be satisfied!!! And dont forget to stop around the corner at Adelles for the best coffee in Dover!

Amazing restaurant that I would describe as Mexican for people who generally dont like Mexican food; and if you do, even better! Friendly, efficient staff who make sure the line keeps moving and the waits never keep you too long. Vegetarian friendly, and with so many combinations that you could pop in 5 days a week and not get sick of the selections.

For a quick burrito its a good place to go. Once again Im disappointed that their so called hot sauce is very weak. The flavors were ok but it could be so much better. The staff is very friendly and the place itself is a bit small But it works. The prices are accommodating for what you might expect from a home town restaurant.

Would love to recommend this place, but the service is much slower than expected. Additionally, i asked for garlic in my burrito, and they used such a high concentration of raw garlic that it literally burned my tongue and made eating impossible. Not something i knew was even possible till this incident

Dos Amigos is a great local quick serve Mexican chain. Good selection of burritos with the option of good hot sauces (XXX can be dangerous for some :) with the choice of sour cream or yogurt. Tacos, quesadillas, and nacho special can also be had. Great place for quick lunch. (Limited seating however).

Went in to get a bbq chicken burrito on wheat tortilla and a buffalo chicken burrito On white tortilla with ranch and chips and guacamole for takeout. They messed up the tortillas so me and my fiance began eating each others burrito. Also there was no ranch on hers. For over 20$ this was a sad meal.

This is such a great place! We went there not knowing what to expect, and were pleasantly surprised. They had vegan and vegetarian options, the serving sizes were great, and the prices were reasonable. If you are looking for a good place to have lunch, this place is definitely worth visiting.

Friendly and quick servers. I got the chicken burrito. Kept wondering where the meat was. It was all at one end of the wrap. Gave them a second chance. Got the burrito again. Meat was better dispersed but still bland. No spices that I could discern.

It was late, they were about to close up on Sunday night, but the staff was so nice and whipped up the best steak tacos Ive ever had. Even the seasoning on their chips is amazing. Trust me, this place is worth a visit.
