OK, the oysters on the half shell were fresh, clean and tasted fantastic, the service, especially from the bar tender and from the restaurant manager, was superb once the "issue" was on the table, the atmosphere and cleanliness was top shelf....so why just three stars??? Well, the menu price at the restaurant was about 9 dollars per dozen more than was found on line when I queried Google before we arrived. The menu that Google provided for the Oyster Bar at the Atlantis Casino, which presumably was prepared by the Casino, was $16/dozen. Look....it wont break the bank but I dont like being surprised with a substantially higher price for something that I expected to cost X only to find out that it now costs Y....The restaurant manager was helpful in ensuring that our check reflected the on-line price...and we appreciate that....but I would not have expected to have the situation develop in the first place....at least not with that much of a price difference. WHO prepares the menu that Google uses in its on line service to direct traffic to this or other restaurants? OK, it is off my chest now.....AND I WILL GO BACK because the food is absolutely fantastic and the Service folks are GREAT. As I said however, I dont like being surprised about substantial differences in price. Also, I did verify that the menu used by Google to direct seafood lovers to a different Casino Seafood restaurant in Sparks, NV, is actually consistent the JA Nuggets web page menu for "Johns Oyster Bar"....Come on Atlantis, what gives???

Very fresh seafood. My second time coming here. We got the "seafood voyage for two." Its $40 bucks and totally worth it. Service was great. The chefs are smiling and you can tell they love there jobs. Such a strong passion. The deserts are Big portions. I would happily pay twice what we were charged. Oh the oyster bar is on the sky bridge over the main street.

The first time I visited it, the sushi were amazing, but second time, I guess, the shef was different, because the same type of sushi tasted worse, they were full of crabstick and too much rice and it seemed like the sauce was missing. The service was great both times though!

My husband and I go here once in a while for oysters and clams and sake. I dont like that the bar is right in the hallway with traffic but they have plenty of seating away from it too. You can see the kitchen making the food so thats entertaining too if you sit at the bar.

Ive never eaten sushi and I cant stand sea food so I was convinced by my husband to try their Crystal Shrimp! All I can say their shrimp was cooked tempura style and it is amazing. Tastes like chicken! So if your not a sea food person I recommend to start off with that!

Great seafood with nice views of Reno. Oyster Bar is a perfect place to enjoy fresh seafood while playing your favorite poker machine. Bartenders are very good and professional.

The BEST Seafood for a restaurant not on the coast. I grew up eating seafood on the Monterey Peninsula and the Oyster Bar at Atlantis is as good or better!
