the beer is goood no real stand outs ...the beers are of british style and looking for a soul ....the hop punch was ok but, needed some refining to sell really well . The service was ok not when the place is packed.. they need a pick up point at the end of the bar to speed it up a little ,,, there was a sense of huh going on during the rush ,,, and the soggy pizza I had took a lloooong time ,,, and I was the only one that had food no one else had food and my pizza stilll toook a damn day and a half.. the capreese pizza was soaked in the middle due to all the run off from the toms and mots ... this is a perfect example of what to do ,,,, or not to do hiring friends never works .. no experience always shines through in the bizz after peeking in the kitchen I knew why... yes I have cooked for 12 years in the rockies and I know Italian and asian like no one else in the valley so I have the title chef to back my comments the cooks and brewers have a great thing going ,,just not the experience to make it awsome with fast or good service ... tried the nocho`s and ran out of goodies and was left with alot of chips a rookie cookie mistake.... beer maybe food never again oh well back to the gran tree happy hour ....for pizza and a beer...........

The beer and service are both great, but this place gets 5-stars for its support of community and conservation groups in the area. They do so much in the way of charity, donating their space for events, and promoting helpful and educational programs in the Bozeman & SW MT communities. Its great knowing that, when you come here, you are supporting those causes as well.

Wow, great beer! I mean like a large. Selection of really good beer across the board. The food was actually really good and was a lot different than I expected. We had the Sicilian Cheese Bread and man was it good. I am super impressed with this place! We will back!

Went in with a group of 10 people who ALL bought drinks and they did not appreciate us being there. They commented on us not giving them adequate warning for our group and also said we were "standing in the wrong place" I. E. The bar..... But beer was great

This was towards the end of my Bozeman Brewery Tour. They have some fantastic beers, I wish I could have tried them all. The Scotty Peat stands out. If you are a scotch lover you will enjoy this beer. The staff was great :)

Great food and Beer, Historic Location The food portions are huge - we tried Pizza and Nachos. And the Beers were great. The Amber Ale stood out, and the White Peach Wheat surprised me too.
