Took my boyfriend to 54th Street yesterday - He had never been. Lately, any restaurant weve been to, we get horrible service. Maybe because were young and he has tattoos, the servers think we arent going to tip (we tip well actually). This wasnt the case at 54th Street. Our first server greeted us and took our drink orders. She was VERY sweet. Apparently, she was sick and went home so we had a new server the rest evening. I wish I would have caught her name, but I didnt. She was SUPER friendly and attentive. She got triple sat, but still had a smile on her face and continued to check on us. As far as the food - AMAZING! I was EXTREMELY impressed. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich. Best I think Ive ever had. Considering coming back tonight. :) I also ordered a Margarita. One of the best Ive had too. LOTS of Tequila! My boyfriend is super picky and order the Mozzarella sticks (his favorite food), 9 times out of 10, he sends them back because theyre cold or gross. He almost ordered a second order because they were so good! Also, in the hour or so we were there, they continued to vacuum (with the noiseless push vacuum), ensuring the restaurant was clean. To me, that shows a lot about the workers and the owner/managers. I know, as a server, how much of a pain it is to sweep/vacuum, yet the workers seemed committed to a clean restaurant, which is awesome! Fast forward to the bill, I ordered a salad with my sandwich and got fries instead. The server was very busy so I just ate the fries (which were excellent). When the check came, I was charged $1.99 extra for the salad. I simply explained that I didnt get my salad, which was fine, and my server apologized and had it removed from my bill. She was super nice about it. I was/am EXTREMELY pleased with my experience. The service, the food, the atmosphere. We will DEFINITELY be back! Easy 5 Stars from me!

I wish there was a no star option I took a visit to the Florissant location where my food & service was a disaster I wanted my money back & was told they dont do that & that I wouldnt get my money back no matter what I did because THE PRESIDENT OF 54th doesnt talk to customers (peasants) I felt very disrespected & they even took it upon themselves to call the police on me & put me out saying my service was no longer wanted there but instead of giving me my money back for food that I refused to eat they tried to give me a gift voucher that I didnt want because I didnt want the food. The manager also said the food looked like it had been sitting there forever ! My coworker went back to have her food remade & they remade mine & here is the kicker I took one bite into my food & the chicken wasnt done ! The main reason why I didnt want the food remade in the first place its clear the cooks didnt know what they were doing , Im allergic to shrimp so I asked for my pasta without it. Instead of remaking my food they picked the shrimp out ! This was told to me by one of the workers at the restaurant. Im sick to my stomach over this situation & the disgusting food they tried to force me to eat & you havent heard the last from me

We visit the establishment a lot and i just wonder if its the management on duty or just poor workers but the last few times we have visit out service has been poor and the manager (Rich) gave us free coupons for free meals because the service was so bad. Today we visit to use the free coupons and we get same server as we had before and he was very poor again today. Slow food to table on a Tuesday evening when it was not busy at all. My food order was a burger and it came out last and was luke warm and luke warm fries.I asked for lettuce, tomato and pickles on the side which never came out with my food. The bar server had three tables in section and she visit her tables more than out server. I witness our server social visit wit customer or personal visit in the lobby waiting area while we waited for our food to come to table. Our server did not bring food another server brought food. I had to ask another server for refill on my drink and then we wait 5 to 20 minutes for check to pay after we already boxed up leftover food and was ready to go home. I jus have lost faith in going to eat with your store after poor services the last few times we have visit in the past 3 months.

went here and it was pretty good although i dont know why they had the bartender doing the waitressing and making drinks it was kind of hard to get his attention, everyone else was bringing out food and refilling our drinks and all that but him, he didnt get the best tip.. i mean he needs to stick to ONE OR the other . the food is good though cant deny that UPDATE. Went on a double date with my fiancé , his cousin & his girlfriend. Our waitress was horrible I dont know if its because it was busy or what ...but it took forever for us to Get our drinks , refills . All that . When my lemonade was made there was so much sugar in it on the sides I couldnt even drink it. It disgusted me. I ordered fries, didnt get them had to ask another waitress to bring them out to me Along with Ranch sauce instead of the honey mustard they gave me. My fiancé plate they had to completely take back and remake because they have him a wheat seed bun (something we didnt ask for !) It took so long for her to give us the bill . We didnt give her a tip at all ! She didnt deserve it !

I tried to have lunch here today with my daughter. I ordered nachos for my appetizer. When my plate of nachos arrived. My daughter noticed the tomatoes in the pico de gilo looked old and so did the red onions. The lettuce was almost black. So we brought it to the server attention, she reassured us its made fresh daily. We then looked a little closer and there was a piece of cooked bacon in it. The server says "oh we dont put bacon in our pico de gilo and thats not bacon". Well, duh! Unless its a new way of making it. Ive never heard of It neither it actually looked as though it came from someone elses plate of trash. The tomatoes looked as though they were sprinkled with parmesan cheese and tossed. The server did not offer to fix us a fresh order but eventually did, by then I was ready to go and not return.

One if the worst experiences Ive ever had... I waited 45 minutes for my food then went we got it there was hair in it... The manager Tim was not helpful at all we ordered the $25 deal and after they took the one meal with the hair in it off I still paid $22.08 for my meal alone!!!! They NEVER APOLOGIZED!!! I would never recommend this place to anyone it was HORRIBLE!!!! The staff was unprofessional I had to ask about my food while I watch the lady working the bar constantly Cater to a table of men who order after us BUT got their food before us... I guess thus us not a place for couples if you want decent service....
