Lots of these reviews appear to be people who are reviewing a single experience. Theres no restaurant where everything is perfect all day, every day. New China is great because they get it right most of time. Like most buffets, its "best" when they open and are busy (about 11:00-12:30 and 6:00-7:30). It not good in mid afternoon and later in evening because of fewer customers - you cant afford to swap out that half full plan of food at 3PM; so, it slowly gets worse. Ive eaten at a lot of Chinese buffets and the reason this is one better than most is the variety is very broad and many of the recipes are very good. One reviewer indicated the food is the same all day and thats incorrect. Lunch is less expensive because there are fewer seafood options. Dinner and weekends up the price because they add more crab and shrimp dishes to the selection. For comments on service... youre eating at a buffet place and the only service is refilling drinks. Of dozens of meals here, 99% of the time they ask to fill your drink just as you empty the previous one. Occasionally, there might be a delay because things do get crazy busy here. Faulting a restaurants service as a main reason for a 1 or 2 star review when you mostly serve yourself seems crazy.

The waiter was nice and did his job well. The food was good and the sushi was good too. Except when I tried to order some sushi the chef would only do half of what I asked for. We had a hard time understanding each other so I took it to mean they didnt have those ingredients. So I got three delicious salmon sushi which got me craving more it was so good. I went back up to the counter with a tip in my pocket and asked for a roll with salmon. And he tried to say no about something but I couldnt understand. So I get a roll with no salmon in it, just cucumber and avocado and I tell him its wrong, I wanted salmon. And he just said no salmon and walked off. So Im not sure if maybe there is a limit Im unaware of, or theyd actually run out of salmon after having just made me some, or if the chef was just extremely rude and didnt want to be arsed about it. So we gave his tip to the waiter instead.

I went there with some of my friends, the food was very good, better than many chinese restaurants I had tried before. My only comment is about the waitresses there, who seemed rude to me. I am from the middle east and I SAW these girls talking to each other about me and making fun of the way I look! I mean, I could have called the manager but I didnt wanna make a scene. I wish whoever s responsible for this place will read this to know his waitresses are humiliating the customers. I was really upset. One more thing, my friend had a little girl who was crying and the waitress actually yelled at her!

Perfectly adequate........thats how I describe New China. Vast selection, nothing spectacular, and watching folks fighting over the crab legs is always a sight to see. Far more value in the lunch buffet as its the same items @ $3 off regular dinner price. One word of advice, good luck ordering strait from the menu........the staff seems Ill prepared if you dont get the buffet. And if you do order from menu, make sure to keep an eye out that they dont simply get your order from the buffet tables. Review from a local who frequents this establishment several times a year.

Arrived at 8:50pm, sign on door stated hours of operation until 9:30pm. Greeter states that they closed at 9:30 would we like a plate to go, how long does it take to eat at a buffet? Im sure we couldve been out of their way by "closing" time. I suggest you change your closing time to 9:00pm if you are going to turn away customers at 8:50. I will NEVER bring any business to this location again. Apparently someone wanted to leave early on this particular Wednesday evening. greeter then locked the door behind us as we left.

A pleasant experience. Dinner was around $10 per person but it was worth it. There are plenty of items to choose from and the atmosphere is very nice. The first thing I noticed was that the parking lot was pretty full thats got to be a good sign.

Arrived to eat at noon on a Saturday and EVERYTHING I ate was stone cold except for the soup. Huge variety of food but nothing else I chose (all oriental dishes) approached being warm.
