(3) One star--In the apology, the manager promised a free dessert and meal (a very kind gesture!). I went to collect, but they said she didnt work there anymore. They wouldnt even look at the email she sent while employed by their restaurant. They did give me a small blizzard, but would not give the meal. I wouldnt have accepted, but this about the integrity of the restaurant! They should not allow their employees to make promises if they cant honor them. I wouldve let it go, but today I ordered a blizzard (for the last time). They have a flip or free policy. She started to hand it to me WITHOUT flipping it (the sign is on the window...). I tried to give her a hint, but she still wouldnt flip it. I had to flip it FOR her. I didnt complain (I dont like to cause trouble), but this is the second time this location has failed to honor a promise. If they arent going to flip the blizzard (or at least apologize for not flipping it) then they should take the sign down (its not important unless it has consistency of milkshake). Also, the fries were cold (not the first time). Its just not worth the money. There are plenty of other good restaurants in the area. I will not visit this location again. (2) Im giving them a star back. I filed a complaint with corporate who forwarded the complaint to the general manger at DQ who apologized the same day! I am pleased with the way it was handled. (1) I ordered a mini peanut butter cookie dough smash blizzard. First, she thought I ordered a medium and gave me the wrong price. I asked if that was for a mini (I think she thought I said medium). She said no and gave me the correct price--$3.20. I drove to the window and she had a medium waiting. I told her I ordered a mini. She asked if I wanted to be charged for a medium. I said no. She charged me for the correct price. She didnt want me to wait so she offered me the medium instead. I thought it was a nice gesture until I tried the blizzard. It was basically 16 Oz of vanilla ice cream soup ( DQs ice cream is gross in liquid form) with 3 or 4 balls of salty peanut butter cookies, but no chocolate chip cookie dough or choco chunks. It was so disgusting I drove to a gas station just to throw it away. Im so mad that I wasted my money on this garbage. Points for the gesture, but horrible quality!!!!

I ordered a sheet cake from this store for a birthday. I went by the store to pick it up and after standing in the lobby for 5 minutes without anyone speaking to me I finally was asked "whatchu want?" I said I was there to pick up a cake I ordered the day before. And I was told. "Our freezer is broken, we sent our cakes to the new Jackson store on 80." I cant believe they didnt call to even tell me. At the new store they didnt have the cake I ordered and had no idea about any cakes from Clinton but they helped me no problem and were very friendly about it. This was the final straw with this store. They dont care and it shows. Trash was in the parking lot and my feet stuck to the floor. If you are near this store and really want Dairy Queen dont stop there and dont order cakes there. From now on I will be using a different store even though this is in my home town.

We ordered 2 chicken strip baskets with gave and one with extra gravy and naco cheese , we payer sit down and wait for our food. Right before we get our food they come and tell us that they dont have any gravy and naco cheese. When they bring our food they bring us a ice cream with strawberries it would have been ok if nobody liked or wasnt allergic to strawberries. While we were eating we saw an employee come from the back with a bag of gravy and dump out naco cheese. When we went to got 2 Prep Blizzards one with extra Oreos and they got them mixed up.

Everytime I go to through the drive-thru the cashier charges me 3 or 4 dollars more than my order costs. Everytime I go inside to correct them the person I complain to searches out the person who was in charge of my order and scorns them for their mistake. The ice cream is good, the fries are stale, I live in Clinton with my granny. Id love to take advantage of the DQ deals i see on tv but Clinton DQ is not helping me choose DQ as my restaurant of choice.

Wife and I have stopped by this DQ many times after a nice dinner in Jackson on our way home to Vicksburg. I dont think Ive ever seen a restaurant so dirty and unkept. Almost felt unsafe eating but really wanted ice cream. Probably will be the last time. If what the customers see was that dirty, cant imagine the back. Food crumbs and toppings all over the floor and counter.

I placed an order for a strawberry cheesecake ice cream cake. The next day I went in, and they didnt make the cake so they compensated me with a regular ice cream cake, and told me they would make the cake I ordered the next day. The next day I picked up my cake, and the cake had bananas in it and chocolate crunch when I specifically said not to put chocolate crunch in it.

Their food is mediocre fast food. And customer service could be improved with just a smile. However, their ice cream and desserts are delicious. Whether you get a simple dipped cone, a brownie sundae, or a smores blizzard, you can bet it will satisfy your sweet tooth craving!

If the sign days it has pecans, then USE PECANS and NOT SALTED PEANUTS! The two are most definitely not the same. I guess I should have checked their rating BEFORE I went. My mistake. Lesson learned. Next time Ill check.

This was once a great DQ, but they have cut too many corners. The buns are stale or dried out & crumbly and ingredients are all in one place and not spread evenly.
