Lucky China is my wife and Is safe bet for all of the SSP, WSP, IGH, etc area. Where else are you served a complimentary kettle of green tea and choice of soup? (The hot & spicy definitely looks different and tastes far better than at any buffets, where I always get a bowl to try.) Add two dinners and the bill is still less than $20! Everything weve had there is delicious, and some of them include more vegetables than actually listed - if it sounds good but the veggies are sparse, seriously ask cause you might be surprised. Likewise, if you dont like veggies I guess that could be a negative... The egg rolls were just okay, but otherwise it has all been really tasty, affordable, and prompt pleasant service. I have no idea what the Korean menu looks like, but from the other reviews I would recommend asking for it - it hasnt been offered to us any of the times weve visited, but it sounds like its still available if you ask.

Lucky China is our favorite Chinese restaurant. Their hot & sour chicken is my fave, and my husband loves their hot & sour soup. (He has tried hot & sour soup at a number of restaurants but has yet to find another place where he likes the soup as well as he likes the soup at Lucky China.) My husband will often order more than one entree when we go there because he loves their beef dishes (orange beef and Mongolian beef especially) and we live far enough away that we cannot go as often as we would like. It is a small family-run restaurant so it has an informal, homey atmosphere.

Good food, reasonable prices. Staff were not exactly the most attentive and seemed preoccupied with personal matters so they were rarely going around to the tables. Last visit I ended up waiting 10-15 minutes for the check after finishing eating in a nearly empty restaurant with only one other table occupied. Also ended up having to walk over to their register to tell them I needed a refill on my water because the waiter hadnt been by the tables in quite some time.

Possibly the best hot and sour soup I have had in the twin cities. I have ordered many dishes and all were delicious while priced very reasonably. The hot and sour entrees really hit the spot when you want something spicy. The quality of the food is consistently high and the staff are friendly and attentive. I really enjoy this place and recommend it to my friends and family.

Their jjajangmyun (black noodles) always has been my favorite in MN. This picture is yangjangpee, dish with alot of different vegetables, seafood, and meat to eat together and eat it with mustard sauce. Theyve got some good kimchi and hot tea is served for free. Highly recommend! Wish they sold alcohol :p

This is a small yet cozy and clean restaurant in South Saint Paul. Although it is a hike from my house in the west metro, it is worth it. The menu is very traditional with Chinese and Korean dishes. When I was there, I ordered the Korean dish with noodles and black bean sauce.

I come here for Korean style black bean noofle Jjajangmyun. I think Lucky Star has the best in the region for sure. I have had Jjajangmyun from Chicago, Seattle, SF and LA. LA may have better Jjajangmyun but thats about it.

An authentic(?) Korean-style Chinese food. Fried pork with sweat sauce thing(탕수육) was okay, but the spicy seafood noodle soup(짬뽕) wasnt that great; I wish the soup was hotter and the noodle was softer.

The food is wonderful! Make sure you ask for the Korean menu for even more delicious options. My husband and I discovered Lucky China about 2 years ago and it is one of our favorite restaurants!

The service was excellent so was the Hunan beef and Moo goo Gaipan. The meal came with a pot of tea, egg drop soup, and Chinese doughnuts. Dinner was $9 pre tax. I was very impressed.
