Drove by the Windmill Cafe for 7 years before I ever stopped in. Wow, what a mistake. If you like the show Diners Drive Inns and Dives....this is your place. It is not much to look at from the outside or even the inside but the food is outstanding. This is simply great home cooking/diner food! The chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, and omelets are all outstanding and the three things i rotate between. If you want great food, service, in a family owned place...check out the Windmill cafe!

The breakfast food is good. The country fried steak was dinner right and not too fatty. The rest was standard breakfast fare, not the best but definitely not bad. The place is very small and chilly in the winter. The restroom was an interesting experience too. Its a fairly typical greasy spoon cafe. Its good, just know what to expect before you go. Id rate it between 3 and 4 stars if the app allowed it.

Quaint hole in the wall diner. Prices were good, but the food is typical greasy spoon. Omelette came tipped with American cheese, hashed browns were not very crispy, and the French toast lacked a lot of creativity. Place is definitely unique in atmosphere and location but they need to up their flare with their food.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Small home town feel. Staff works well together. This is the kind of place that everyone (on staff) is aware you are there and the staff are always pleasant. Great food. Cooks stay in top of it...NEVER had a delay in getting my food...

Small hole in the wall for what I consider home cooked meals - many locals eat here. Decor nothing special but clean and good service I like their breakfast - and think its served anytime Prices are fair

Had a great late breakfast here. Kind of tricky to get to, especially if you blindly follow Google Maps. Neat old place filled with neat old people and very attentive staff. Highly recommended.

Amazing staff. We were able to sit down quickly even though it was busy. Staff was fast and attentive. Food came out fast and it was delicious. Would recommend the French toast and hashbrowns.

Reasonably priced, quaint little shop. It was kind of hard to get into, and the bathrooms werent great. The food tastes great though and was a good way to start a travel day on vacation!
