I still cant believe this place is in Grand Rapids. It seems a little out of place in our small northwoods town but its awesome to have the variety. The sushi is consistently delicious but you will pay accordingly. Its not cheap to get fish this fresh in Itasca county I suppose. You can watch the chef prepare your order in front of you which is pretty interesting the first couple of times. There are lots of other dishes on the menu here too so dont write this place off just because you arent a fan of raw fish.

We heard good things, so we checked it out for lunch today. I had the Hibachi special, vegetable, and my hubby had the sushi roll special. The food came quickly and looked great! We got a small salad and won ton soup. My hubbys sushi rolls were of salmon, and 2 other meats. He really enjoyed it. The Hibachi vegetables looked like carrots, zuchinis, mushrooms and more. The sauce was particularly tasty with slightly sweetened soy sauce

Not authentic. Just so so. The sushi and sashimi items are great. The appetizers are good. However the hot dishes such as noodles and fried rice are heavy, greasy, with a bitter aftertaste while lacking in overall flavor. They also use an extremely heavy hand with the sauces. As long as you just want some sushi this is a great place...anything else and I think your wasting your money.

Can I give this a 0? Horrible service. I got the wrong food and they refused to fix it and told me I had to pay for WHAT I DIDNT ORDER!!! There was nobody that would get me a refill. Absolutely disatisfied with this. Good thing I drove 2 hours to eat my lunch here.... NEVER AGAIN!

Went in, sat down, looked at the menu, but no one took our order or even acknowledged us. Sat there watching the servers walk passed us with the menus closed so we left and will never go back.
