The meal, when we finally received it, was okay. The wait service was terrible. Waited 10 minutes for beverage order and another 10 minutes to order meal. Then it took 30 minutes to receive meal. Meanwhile the grandkids were squirmy and hungry, loud, and bored. Finally had to ask the manager for the cookies (came with kids meal) and bill. This was the worst experience at a Perkins we ever experienced. Waitress did not earn a tip! In fact, if I were the manager I would fire her.

As an American sit down restaurant chain, Perkins has seen better days and has failed to keep up. When in Faribault, head downtown to Montes ( a bit more upscale), The Depot (great burgers), or if you need a reliable chain restaurant, try Bostons (get the Pizza!). The one good thing to say about Perkins, is they handle families with young kids well, and while the baked goods are nothing special, they are always tasty.

Its not open 24 hours weve been hitting every Perkins for 2 hours claiming to be open 24 hours Ive never been to one before but I dont know if I will ever try why trust a restaurant if you cant even trust their hours?

Its a normal Perkins: lots of options for decent food, some innovative stuff, and tasty baked goods. Why are you reading a review of Perkins anyway? You know what to expect so just go already. This one wont disappoint.

They dont greet you when you come in and take a while go even acknowledge you. However once youre seated, your waiter/waitress is really nice.
