The lunch buffet is always jammed packed everyday and if you arrive after 11:30am you will have to wait for tables to turn as this buffet is so popular. The buffet is priced at a reasonable and competitive price with the greatest selection of items compared to its competitors in Bloomington, Richfield, and Edina. And what I really like is that the staff does not mind if I call in advance to ask what the items of the day are on the buffet which is truly appreciated as some of their competitors get annoyed if you want to inquire on the buffet items for your favorites before making the trip or else just plain outright say call back after the buffet opens to find out what is on the buffet du jour. The staff is also courteous, friendly, and efficient, and remembers their regulars. The buffet has all the standards condiments to spice up your items as little or as much as you want - ground chili oil, Chinese mustard, soy sauce, sweet-sour etc, and with the buffet you can adjust the ratio of meat/veggies to your liking on the self-serve. Unlike other Chinese buffets this one also has soups, appetizers, and desserts and fruit with a full selection of steamed or fried rice and lo-mein noodles as well which other leave out.

This place used to be so good, but in the last 4 years its gone steadily downhill. The servers are really nice, and lovely people, but the food is terrible. I ordered fried dumplings and cashew chicken to go, and picked it up around 4 in the afternoon. There was no one in the restaurant (to be expected, it was mid-afternoon), and youd think the food would have been right if its the only order going on. The fried dumplings were burned on the bottom, doughy on top and the dipping sauce was too spicy. The cashew chicken wasnt cashew chicken at all, but some kind of massively sweet walnut chicken. The "sauce" was sweet colored water. Its the last straw for me for this restaurant. I wont be back.

I was in the area shopping and looked around for a Chinese restaurant to get some take out and was fortunate enough to find this place. My food was made to order and was way better than expecting. The person who took my order was very accommodating and assured me that it would be good. When I picked up the food I recieved excellent service and was told that if there was ever a time that I wanted anything that was not on the menu that they would make it for me! Im hooked! I drive from Mpls just to take it home and enjoy.

Terrific lunch experience! My wife and I have never had a poor lunch here. The staff is friendly and very quick (seating, waiting, and bus-ing tables all done fast). The buffet is reasonably sized, constantly replenished, and all of the food is well above average buffet quality. The best part - great buffet price! Havent tried it for a take out or other non-buffet eating experience, but would definitely give it a shot. Giving this place a try for lunch is a must.

In the south metro, it has by far, the absolute best lunch and dinner buffet in the area. Their dinner buffet is like sitting down to a Chinese dim sum with a wide variety of their every day indivudial menu items. Regarding the comment from Indigo about the cockroachs, the neighboring businesd is a competing Indian restaurant who cant compete, and is spreading this rumor to desperately attempt to attract business. Enough said

Ordered CHICKEN chow mein was nasty and the meat did not look like or taste like chicken! In fact, I dont know what it was almost more like beef or pork but didnt taste like either one of those either so my only guess is something very unfamiliar! Threw it out! Also ordered hunan triple crown which was expensive scallops were so small they were barely noticeable but at least edible. First and last time here ISH!

Human is our favorite chinese restaurant in the Twin Cities! The staff is awesome and the food: FABULOUS! Weve eaten in for the buffet and we take out often (the staff knows us by our order on the phone) and you cant go wrong either way. My colleagues at work all go there now because they love the smell of my leftovers at lunch. Honey Walnut Shrimp and Kung Pao Chicken make a great combo!

I went to Hunan based on the reviews here and I was not disappointed. Hunan is nothing fancy, but the food and the service was GREAT. Do not let the location or the outside fool you. Try it, you will not be disappointed. BTW the dinner buffet at the time of this review was $9.75, which is still pretty reasonable. I will definitely go back the next time Im in MLPS.

Decent, guilty-pleasure Chinese food. I had the lunch buffet, full of sesame, spicy, lemon, sweet and sour, broccoli chicken dishes, beef and broccoli, lettuce salad, jello, egg rolls, spring rolls, egg drop or sweet and sour soups, cantaloupe, fried sugar rolls. All very tasty and quick, but probably not good for you.

Ive never been to another restaurant where everything on the menu is truly exceptional. I love the salt & pepper fish and stir-fried green beans. I dont how or why their hot & sour soup is sooo incredible, but it is! Mmmm! Service is friendly and fast for a large party or a couple on a date!

Typical Chinese Restaurant. After hearing how great it is I was disappointed in its sameness. The sesame chicken was the only standout everything else was equal to or less than average. I only had the lunch buffett so maybe table servicevis better. $14 for buffett and soda...

The gentlemen that run this are exceptionally kind. The food is great here. Especially the buffet. Black Bean shrimp is out of this world tasty. Hunan Lamb has a little kick to it. And their fried rice is never dry. Must check out if in Bloomington or Richfield.

Great environment with friendly owner and crew. They make sure that youll be assisted within 5 minutes of entry into the restaurant. The food are also great. I suggest that you try the House special fried rice and the Mushroomed chicken. Definitely our favorite.

Excellent food. Shrimp with lobster sauce is amazing. Staff and service are exceptional. Options for people who people who dont like spice, but also plenty of spicy favorites as well. Gets busy around 5pm for dinner buffet. 4pm is a great time to get there.

I just got some Hunan Lamb for dinner and it wasnt that good. The onions were too much. The lamb didnt have a lot of taste to it. I was disappointed. It was my first time so Ill give them one more shot but if its like today, Im not going to go back.
