We frequent this place and usually have a good experience....Last night, My wife and I were out walking and decided to stop in and enjoy a beer on the patio. I thought it would be great to celebrate her new job....I went inside, ordered two beers, and was asked for my ID (which I provided). The barista then asked for the ID of the person I was with (my wife) and I said she didnt have it. We were just walking by and I decided to stop in as a surprise to my wife. The barista said she couldnt serve my wife a beer then..... We are both over 40 years of age!! What happened to common sense? So we walked over to Beef OBradys and had a beer there (and they didnt even ask for one ID). Im not going back! How disappointing....Maybe next time I plan a surprise for my wife, I will make sure she has her ID with her. Ugh....

Disappointed! Took a friend to lunch here. First off, it was extremely warm in there. Hot and humid outside means you should have the air on inside. I ordered what used to be my favorite, the caprese sandwich - it was much smaller than I remembered and it had no basil. A caprese with no basil, hmmmmm. The fruit that went along with it was canned pineapple. Wow! For wanting to be more higher end I would think youd take a few minutes to cut up some fresh strawberries and melon or something not canned pineapple! My friends sandwich was made with a bagel. The bagel was slightly burnt and very dry. I wanted to love it, but it just wasnt good. ☹️

I just had the best grilled cheese sandwich Ive ever had in my entire life. Im bigtime foodie fresh and feasting is my game. Your toast is so amazingly buttery and crunchy with some grain. Perfect! I went with double the cheese and added bacon. It blew me away. Thanks for your excellence! And your monster cookies are best in Anoka County. Top 3 in the state. But your grilled cheese (needs the extra cheese in my opinion) I would put up against any grilled cheese in the nation. Have been going here some lately and now will be making this one of my top picks in north metro. Thank you!!!! Love your food.

The food options are good. Good salads, flatbreads, soups, sandwiches, etc. Im told they feature prime rib dinner some nights, but I havent had it. Scratch cooking. Decent rotating beers with some Minnesota micro taps - could be better for hop heads. Service is uneven and a bit thin many evenings. Often a single server, who cant keep up when things get busy.

Loved it. No idea how we found it, but we have a new favorite local place. Great craft beer selection, best we have found so far in this area, and creative menu options that are very reasonably priced. Love that they are open all day and excited to come back for happy hour. I hope we get many more places like this! A true gem.

Great food, a nice selection of craft beers and great coffee with the beans roasted in house. If you havent had the pleasure of smelling coffee while its roasting, Im sorry. Amber and Dan are always happy to help, willing to answer any questions you might have. Come try the breakfast burrito, you wont be disappointed.

Just recently visited for the first time since they re-branded from The Bean (which makes sense considering theyre much more than just a coffee shop). They still had the great selections of wine and local craft beer, and the food was even better than before. Will definitely be visiting more often!

Had a fabulous time at The Bean this past week. The food is great, with gluten free options. The service was amazing even though every table was full on a Thursday evening. We have always enjoyed the coffee and breakfast items, but dinner was just as wonderful. Everyone will love this restaurant!

Nice small local joint! Their updated menu gives plenty of options and kids options are good as well. Beer and wine menu is diverse and solid! oh - plus you can get Coffee at the drive thru or counter ! Service has always been great!

I received a Groupon as a gift. We used it Saturday. The apps were wonderful. They serve generous glasses of wine. The staff was friendly and helpful. Try their Parsnip Soup!!! We will go again!
